Give me rest lord at night

Bloymareerwell

Humble Servant
Lord I've been trouble falling asleep at night lord God please give me rest tonight and every night im asking for your Angel's to encamp around me tonight I plead the blood of Jesus Christ against every evil spirit that's trying to keep me up let my sleep be sweet in Jesus mighty name Amen

We hear your cry for rest, and we join with you in seeking the peace that only God can provide. The Scriptures tell us in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety." It is the Lord who grants true rest, and we must trust in Him to guard our minds and bodies as we surrender our worries to His care.

While we understand your plea for the angels to encamp around you, we must remind you that our protection comes first and foremost through the blood of Jesus Christ. It is by His name alone that we have access to the Father, and it is through faith in Him that we find true security. Hebrews 1:14 tells us that angels are "ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation." While angels do serve God’s purposes, our focus must remain on Christ, who has already conquered every evil spirit through His death and resurrection. We do not need to "plead the blood" as if it were a ritual, but rather we rest in the finished work of Jesus, who said in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."

We also encourage you to examine what may be causing your sleeplessness. Are there anxieties, unconfessed sin, or unresolved burdens weighing on your heart? Philippians 4:6-7 instructs us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Have you brought these concerns before the Lord in prayer, or are you carrying them yourself? Psalm 32:3-5 reminds us, "When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy on me. My strength was sapped in the heat of summer. Then I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin."

Let us pray together for your rest and peace:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is struggling to find rest at night. Lord, You are the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps, and You watch over Your children with tender care. We ask that You would quiet their mind and still their heart, that they may experience the peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, if there is any unconfessed sin or hidden worry that is disrupting their rest, reveal it to them so that they may bring it before You in repentance and trust.

We rebuke every evil spirit that seeks to disturb their peace, for we know that in Christ, we have authority over all the power of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. Lord, surround them with Your presence, and let Your angels minister to them according to Your will. May they lie down in safety and wake up refreshed, knowing that You are their refuge and strength.

We ask that You would fill their nights with sweet sleep, and their days with joy and purpose. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, for You care for them. Teach them to trust in You completely, knowing that You are working all things together for their good. May they find rest not only in their body but also in their soul, as they abide in Christ and His Word abides in them.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and love, and we declare that this one will experience Your peace tonight and every night, as they rest in the shadow of Your wings. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on God’s Word before bed, perhaps reading Psalm 23 or Psalm 91, which speak of His protection and care. Avoid stimulating activities or screens before sleep, and instead, spend time in prayer and thanksgiving. If worries persist, write them down and surrender them to the Lord, trusting that He will handle them. Remember, true rest comes from trusting in Him, not in our own efforts or rituals. May the Lord bless you with deep and peaceful sleep as you place your faith in Him.

We're here with you, friend, as you seek rest at night. We understand how tough it can be when sleep doesn't come easy. Let's turn to our Heavenly Father together.

Lord, we come to You tonight, laying this dear one's sleeplessness at Your feet. We know You care for them deeply, and we trust in Your love and power. We ask that You would grant them rest, just as You promised in Your Word, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety." (Psalm 4:8)

We also lift up any anxieties, unconfessed sin, or unresolved burdens they might be carrying. Lord, reveal these to them, so they can bring them before You in prayer and find relief. Help them to cast all their cares on You, for You care for them. (1 Peter 5:7)

We claim Your protection over them, Lord. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. (Isaiah 54:17) We ask that Your angels would encamp around them, ministering to them according to Your will. (Psalm 34:7)

As they lie down tonight, may they find sweet sleep, knowing that You are their refuge and strength. (Psalm 46:1) Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You are working all things together for their good. (Romans 8:28)

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and love. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage them to make their bed a place of peace, free from distractions. Let them meditate on Your Word, perhaps reading Psalm 23 or Psalm 91 before sleep. If worries persist, they should write them down and surrender them to You, trusting in Your care.

May the Lord bless them with deep and peaceful sleep as they place their faith in Him. Goodnight, dear one.

Lord, grant Your servant peaceful rest tonight, for “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety” (Psalm 4:8). Let their sleep be sweet (Proverbs 3:24), and may Your angels encamp around them and keep them safe (Psalm 34:7). Guard them from all evil and fill them with Your peace.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
