We join you in lifting up your creative endeavors and desire to use your talents for God’s glory. It is wonderful that you seek to honor the Lord through your work, and we pray that He will open doors for you to share your gifts in ways that align with His will. The Bible reminds us in Colossians 3:23-24, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."* Your desire to work diligently and with excellence is pleasing to God, and we trust that He will guide your steps as you seek to serve Him through your creativity.
We also appreciate that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* This is a powerful reminder that our prayers are heard because of Christ’s righteousness, not our own. We encourage you to continue seeking His will above all else, trusting that He knows what is best for your life and career.
At the same time, we gently remind you to examine your heart and motives. While it is not wrong to desire financial stability or success, we must ensure that our ambitions do not become idols or distractions from our primary calling—to love and serve God with all our hearts. Jesus warns in Matthew 6:24, *"No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon."* Let us pray that your pursuit of freelance work remains rooted in a desire to glorify God rather than merely accumulating wealth or recognition.
Additionally, we encourage you to seek wisdom in how you steward the opportunities God provides. Proverbs 16:3 says, *"Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed."* This does not guarantee worldly success, but it assures us that when we surrender our plans to Him, He will direct our paths in ways that align with His purposes. If freelance work is His will for you, He will make it clear and provide the necessary connections and resources. If His plan differs, we pray you will have the faith to trust His timing and direction.
Let us pray together for your request:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with thanksgiving for the creative talents You have entrusted to our brother. Lord, You are the giver of all good gifts, and we ask that You would guide him as he seeks to use his abilities for Your glory. Open doors for him to connect with voice actors, studios, and opportunities that align with Your will. Grant him favor in the eyes of those who can help bring his vision to life, and may his work be a light that points others to You.
We pray that You would provide for his financial needs in ways that honor You, reminding him that his worth is found in Christ alone, not in his success or earnings. Guard his heart from the love of money or the temptation to prioritize worldly gain over his relationship with You. Help him to remain humble, teachable, and dependent on Your strength, knowing that apart from You, he can do nothing (John 15:5).
If it is Your will for him to begin this new season of freelance work next year, prepare the way for him. Give him patience if the timing is different than he expects, and grant him the wisdom to recognize Your leading. May he seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to him as You see fit (Matthew 6:33).
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, impatience, or selfish ambition that may try to take root in his heart. Instead, fill him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let him rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
