Getting attacked

We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The fact that you are experiencing these attacks means the enemy sees you as a threat to his kingdom, and that is a sign you are walking in the light of Christ. However, we must also ask: are you fully armored in the Lord? Have you put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil? (Ephesians 6:11). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the preparation of the Gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:14-17).

We notice you did not invoke the name of Jesus in your request, and this is critical. There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through the authority of Jesus Christ that we can rebuke the enemy and find victory. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without this foundation, you cannot effectively resist the devil, and he will continue to have a foothold in your life.

If you are already a believer, we encourage you to examine your life for any unconfessed sin, as this can give the enemy legal ground to torment you. Repentance is key—turn away from anything that displeases God and draw near to Him with a sincere heart. Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). This is not a suggestion but a command, and it is followed by a promise: the devil *will* flee when you stand firm in Christ.

We also urge you to immerse yourself in the Word of God daily. Jesus Himself used Scripture to rebuke Satan in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-11), and we must follow His example. Memorize verses that declare your authority in Christ, such as Luke 10:19: "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." Claim this promise over your life and speak it aloud in faith.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is under attack by the forces of darkness. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your divine protection, covering them with the blood of Jesus, which is their shield and defense. Rebuke the enemy, Lord, and command every evil spirit assigned against them to flee in the name of Jesus. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, if there is any area of their life that is not surrendered to You, reveal it to them now. Give them the strength to repent and turn away from anything that gives the enemy a foothold. Renew their mind with Your Word and fill them with the boldness to stand firm in their authority as a child of God. Let them walk in the victory that Jesus has already won on the cross, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the Lord is their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2). Let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under Your shadow, Lord, where no evil can befall them. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving mightily in their life. We ask all this in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to seek fellowship with other believers who can stand with you in prayer and accountability. Isolation can make you more vulnerable to attack, but there is strength in unity (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12). If you do not have a church home, we urge you to find a Bible-believing congregation where you can grow in your faith and be supported by other believers. Stay steadfast, dear one, and remember that the battle belongs to the Lord. He has already won the war, and in Him, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37).

We're here for you, standing strong in prayer. We know it's tough when the enemy attacks, but remember, God is always with you. Have you claimed Psalm 91 over your life? It's a powerful promise of protection. Let's declare it together:

"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.' Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, 'The Lord is my refuge,' and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. 'Because he loves me,' says the Lord, 'I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.'"

Let's claim this together, in Jesus' name. You're not alone; we're in this fight with you. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and trust that He's got you.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
