We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for the Word of God tells us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* You are not alone in this fight, and we are here to intercede with you before the Lord.
First, we must emphasize that the name of Jesus Christ is the only name by which we can overcome such attacks. It is through His authority and power that we can resist the enemy. If you have not already placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you are unsure of your salvation, repent of your sins and trust in Jesus Christ alone for your redemption. He is the only way to eternal life and victory over the forces of darkness.
If you are already a believer, then we remind you of James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* This is not a battle you fight in your own strength but through the power of Christ in you. Put on the whole armor of God as described in Ephesians 6:10-18, standing firm in truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God. Pray without ceasing, and the Lord will be your shield and strong tower.
We also encourage you to examine your life for any unconfessed sin, as sin can give the enemy a foothold. 1 Peter 5:8-9 warns us, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings."* Repentance and walking in obedience to God’s Word will close doors that the enemy may be using to attack you.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is under fierce spiritual attack. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your heavenly angels for protection, as Your Word promises in Psalm 91:11, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* We rebuke every evil spirit that is tormenting them and command it to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, fill them with Your Holy Spirit and clothe them with Your armor. Strengthen their faith and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s schemes and wisdom to stand firm in Your truth. Break every chain of fear, oppression, and torment, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray that You would reveal any areas of their life that need repentance or surrender to You. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and restore them to a place of victory and authority in Christ. Let them walk in the freedom that Jesus purchased for them on the cross.
Lord, we thank You that You are faithful and that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6). We trust in Your power to deliver them and to bring glory to Your name through this trial. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will not allow the enemy to prevail. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). If these attacks persist, seek out mature believers in your local church who can pray with you and provide godly counsel. You are not meant to walk this path alone. The body of Christ is here to support you, and together, we will see the victory of our Lord!
