Father, we thank You Jesus said all these things must take place, Matt 24:6, but on our end, persecution in many parts of the world rival or succeed those of the worst times in history numerically, (Africa, Middle East, Parts of India, Russia, China, Indonesia, Southern Philippines, North Korea -- and MANY other lands are almost as bad) -- besides that, wars are horrible, the sheer amount of those killed and wounded is staggering. We ask for a speedy and humane ending of these conflicts (ultimately by fulfilling the Great Commission, Matt 24:14).

Since we cam do little but pray, share the Gospel and bring it to the attention of Government, Rom 13:3-4, we Your People thank You for "for ALL in Authority," PRES, VPs, SECs, SCOTUS, House Reps, Senators, GENERALS, -- We offer "prayers, petitions, thanksgivings and intercession" before the Throne of Grace on their behalf, so "that we may live peaceful lives in godliness and dignity, which is good and acceptable in Your sight," (in line with the furtherance of the administration of the Gospel), "for You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth," 1 Tim 2:1-4. WE do this in Jesus’ Name PROTECT Troops and The Beautiful Land Grant Peace When & Where Possible for Order & Allow Gospel Proclamation to be Legal and open, proclaimed and effective, 1 Tim 2:3-4, PROTECT ships , captains, crew, free speech, good gov't to arise and free & open economies.

With thanksgiving we are lifting these burdens to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries and bad actors at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3-9, 1 Sam 27-42. May "The Angel of The Lord encamp around those that fear You, and DELIVER THEM, Ps 34:7. Bind the spirits of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Let our prayers strengthen holy angels to back the evil ones off their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3. Send them into confusion, Ex 23:7, Deut 7:23. Lead us, our country, our troops and OUR LEADERS not into temptation, but rather deliver them ALL from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44. Thank You again and again, and even in advance (because You are trustworthy and hear prayer, James 5:16), in JESUS' NAME.

We join you in this burden and we thank you for bringing such a weighty and biblical intercession before the throne of grace. Your heart to pray for all in authority, for generals, troops, civilians, and for the furtherance of the Gospel is exactly in line with the will of God.

We are commanded to do this, for we read in 1 Timothy 2:1-4, I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. And we also take seriously the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20, Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

We agree with you that the present wars and persecution are staggering and grievous to the Lord who loves all people. Jesus himself told us in Matthew 24:6, You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled, for this must happen, but the end is not yet, and yet we know His heart is for peace and for the Gospel to be preached in all the world as a testimony in Matthew 24:14. The numbers you have cited from Russia and Ukraine and from the Middle East, from Gaza and Israel and Iran and beyond, represent precious souls made in the image of God, and the persecution of our brothers and sisters in Africa, the Middle East, India, China, North Korea, Indonesia and many other lands is a great evil that the Lord sees. We are reminded in Romans 13:3-4 that rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil, for he is a servant of God to you for good, and we pray that our leaders would fulfill that calling to restrain evil and promote good.

We also stand with you in spiritual warfare, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places in Ephesians 6:12. We know the enemy is a murderer and a liar from the beginning in John 8:44 and that we must not be ignorant of his schemes in 2 Corinthians 2:11.

So together we pray.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved in Acts 4:12. We thank You that You desire all people to be saved, including generals, troops, civilians, rulers and all in authority. We lift up our Commander in Chief, the Vice President, the Cabinet, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, every general, corporal, sergeant and service member, every member of Congress, the Supreme Court, and all civil servants. Grant them wisdom, counsel, understanding and the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom in Proverbs 9:10. Protect them from deception and from the spirits of darkness, and let Your angels encamp around those who fear You and deliver them in Psalm 34:7, and give Your angels charge over them to keep them in all their ways in Psalm 91:11.

We ask for Your protection over our troops and over the troops and civilians of allied nations, and for Your favor to remain with Israeli intelligence and our own, that evil plans would be intercepted as You revealed the plans of the king of Syria to Elisha in 2 Kings 6:12. Frustrate the plans of the wicked, send confusion into the camps of those who plot violence in Exodus 23:27, and restrain the evil one over unruly nations and bad actors. We bind the spirit of retaliation and bloodshed and we pray that You would strengthen Your holy angels to push back the forces of darkness as in Daniel 10:13.

Lord, we cry out for the persecuted church worldwide. Remember those who are in bonds as bound with them in Hebrews 13:3. Deliver them, sustain them, and let their suffering be a testimony that advances the Gospel. We ask for a speedy and humane end to the wars in Ukraine and in the Middle East and wherever war rages. Heal the wounded, comfort those who mourn, and have mercy on the countless families who have lost loved ones. We pray for free speech, a free press, peace, and for open doors for the proclamation of the Gospel, that the Word of the Lord may run and be glorified in 2 Thessalonians 3:1, and that good government and just laws and free and open economies may arise for the good of the people and the spread of Your truth.

We pray for ships, captains and crews upon the seas, for safety and for order, and for wise and godly leaders to arise in every nation. Lead our leaders not into temptation but deliver them from evil in Matthew 6:13. Let praise and worship arise across our land, for from the rising of the sun to the going down of the same Yahweh’s name is to be praised in Psalm 113:3, and may that praise drive back darkness.

We thank You in advance because You hear the prayers of the righteous which avail much in James 5:16, and we trust You to act sovereignly according to Your perfect will. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We have been moved by your faithful heart for the world. To hold the suffering in Ukraine, Gaza, Iran and so many other places, and to bring generals, troops, civilians, presidents and pastors together before the Lord is a heavy burden, and we are grateful you are carrying it to Him.

It is understandable to feel overwhelmed when the numbers are so large and the needs so urgent. We have found it helps to remember that faithful leadership is not only about decisions and strategy but about character sustained over time, wisdom, courage, compassion and steady stewardship. That is what we can keep asking God to form in those who bear authority, so they use their influence with restraint and mercy.

One simple way to keep this intercession sustainable is to give each day a clear focus rather than trying to hold everything at once. You might take one group you named, perhaps the Commander in Chief and Joint Chiefs one day, troops and civilians the next, and persecuted believers the next, and linger there. It keeps prayer deep and less scattered.

Father, we lift to You all who serve and all who govern, and the many civilians caught in war and persecution. Grant them wisdom, protect life where You can, restrain evil, and keep the way open for Your gospel to be heard. Guide us as we pray and keep our hope anchored in You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you for sharing such a powerful, heartfelt, and deeply spiritual prayer. In times when the world is grappling with so much conflict, loss, and suffering, lifting up our leaders, generals, troops, and all those suffering from persecution is truly the most profound response we can offer.

Your heavy burden for the nations, for rulers and for those who suffer under war and cruel persecution, has been laid before the Lord with many tears and supplications, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer.

We do well to obey the apostolic exhortation that supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty, and that the furtherance of the Gospel may not be hindered. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth, and there is but one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. It is our comfort that believing in Christ is the true ground for joy and peace. What is believing in Christ but trusting Christ who was sent of God to save sinners, and those sinners who trust in Him to save them are saved. There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, and no other peace worth the having but peace through Jesus Christ who preached peace by Himself.

You have rightly noted that wars and rumours of wars must needs be, and yet we are not left to cold resignation. The Lord would have us wrestle against principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness in high places, praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit. We plead that the Lord would restrain the evil one, that He would confound the counsels of the violent, that He would encamp His angels about those who fear Him and deliver them, and that He would grant wisdom and counsel to the Commander in Chief, to the Vice President, to the Cabinet, to the Joint Chiefs and to every general, officer and common soldier who bears the weight of command and of battle, as well as to every civilian who endures the sorrow of these conflicts. We ask the Lord to protect life, to turn the hearts of rulers toward justice and mercy, to preserve liberty for the preaching of the Word, and to open doors for the free and faithful proclamation of the Gospel according to Matthew twenty eight, that men in every land may hear and believe.

For the persecuted in Africa, in the Middle East, in parts of India, in Russia and China, in Indonesia and the southern Philippines, in North Korea and in many other lands where the saints are hunted, we cry for their deliverance and constancy. The numbers of the slain and wounded in Ukraine and Russia, in Gaza and Israel and Iran, are staggering to the soul, and we beseech the Lord for a speedy and humane ending of these conflicts so far as it may please His sovereign will, and above all that through the spread of the Gospel the Prince of Peace may reign in hearts. True peace is not the mere silence of guns, which may be but the peace of the devil that leaves the conscience undisturbed while yet at enmity with God. The peace we seek is the peace of God which comes by being reconciled to God through the blood of the cross, that peace which passeth all understanding and gives power and strength in the path of duty.

Therefore we take courage from that word spoken to Paul in the night vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace, for I am with thee. The Lord did but appear to Paul for a night, but we have His Word ever open before us, and His Spirit to apply it. Let us not hold our peace when Christ is to be made known. Let us speak of Him quietly and modestly, prudently and gently, yet boldly, for the Lord has much people even in cities given to darkness, and He will keep those who trust Him.

We will continue steadfastly in prayer with you, asking that the Lord would cover our leaders and our troops and all who are in peril under the shadow of Psalm ninety one, that He would lead them not into temptation but deliver them from evil, that He would grant them to seek wisdom from above, and that He would so order the affairs of nations that the Gospel may have free course and be glorified, to the praise of His grace and truth made known in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whose name we offer every petition.

Your prayer has been received and we join you in bringing these heavy burdens before the throne of grace with thanksgiving.

We have heard your cry for the suffering peoples in so many lands, for the staggering loss of life and the multitude of the wounded in Ukraine and Russia, in Gaza and Israel and Iran, and for our brothers and sisters in Christ who endure persecution in Africa, the Middle East, India, China, North Korea and many other places. The Lord sees these afflictions and He does not despise the prayers of His people. We ask with you that He would restrain evil, bring a speedy and humane end to these wars where it is His will, comfort those who mourn, heal the wounded, and above all open doors for the Gospel to be proclaimed, for we know that lasting peace comes only when hearts are reconciled to God through Jesus Christ alone.

In keeping with the apostle's exhortation we offer prayers, petitions and intercessions for all in authority, for the president, vice president, cabinet, members of Congress, justices, generals, officers and all who serve, that God would grant them wisdom and counsel that is not of this world. The wisdom of this world terminates in this life and cannot save, but the wisdom from above is pure and leads to life. We pray that those who bear responsibility would learn the fear of the Lord, which must be taught and diligently sought, that they would keep the tongue from evil and seek peace and pursue it, and that they would be kept from the schemes of the evil one. We ask the Lord to encamp His angels around those who fear Him, to protect our troops and civilians, and to guard our leaders from darkness and deception.

We also pray as you have asked for the preservation of a settled order in which we may live quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness and dignity. God has appointed civil authority to keep guard, to beat off enemies, to hinder sedition and to put an end to strife, and this good order serves the furtherance of the Gospel, which God desires for all people to hear, that they may be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. We pray therefore not for a mere absence of conflict, for not every concord is good, but for the true peace which Christ gives, a peace that strengthens His Church to make disciples of all nations as He commanded. May the Lord grant freedom for the open proclamation of His Word, raise up faithful pastors and witnesses, and cause His name to be praised from the rising of the sun to its setting.

Continue steadfast in prayer, in sharing the Gospel, and in appealing to those in authority with respect and truth, trusting that the Lord hears the prayers of the righteous and will accomplish His purposes. We stand with you, wrestling in prayer against the spiritual forces of wickedness, asking that God would confuse evil plans, deliver the oppressed, and guide all humanity toward His salvation.

We commit all these things to our merciful Father in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Lord. Amen.
