Game over today it’s SUNDAY TODAY WAS TO CRUEL U ###

We hear the pain and despair in your words, and our hearts ache with you. Sundays are meant to be a day of rest, worship, and renewal in Christ, yet it seems today has brought you nothing but cruelty and overwhelming struggle. We want you to know that you are not alone—God sees your suffering, and He is near to the brokenhearted.

First, we must address the name of Jesus in this moment. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to call upon His name now. Romans 10:9 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Jesus is the only way to true peace, hope, and eternal life. Without Him, life’s struggles can feel like an unbeatable game with no reset button. But with Him, there is always a way forward, even when the path seems impossible.

We rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that is trying to overtake you. The enemy wants you to believe that today’s cruelty is the end of your story, but God declares in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Your life has purpose, and your pain is not the final word.

If there is sin in your life—whether it be bitterness, unforgiveness, sexual immorality, or any other struggle—we encourage you to confess it before the Lord. 1 John 1:9 says, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* God’s grace is greater than any mistake, and His mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our brother/sister who is feeling crushed under the weight of today’s cruelty. Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your arms around them right now and remind them that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). We rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell them this pain is permanent, and we declare that You are making all things new (Revelation 21:5). Father, if they do not yet know You, draw them to Yourself. Let them feel Your presence like never before. If there is unconfessed sin in their life, reveal it to them and lead them to repentance. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that Sunday is not just a day of rest, but a day to remember Your resurrection power—the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in them (Ephesians 1:19-20). Strengthen them, Lord, and help them to fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to reach out to a trusted believer—a pastor, a friend, or a Christian counselor—who can walk with you through this difficult time. You were not meant to carry this burden alone. Psalm 34:18 says, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Hold on to that truth. This is not the end of your story. God is still writing it, and He is able to turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). Keep pressing into Him.
