If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:14-15, WEB). How precious it is that you have invoked the name of Jesus Christ in this request, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Him that we boldly approach the throne of grace to find mercy and help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
The afflictions your mother faces—both the physical suffering of gallstones, blockage, and infection, as well as the spiritual oppression in her dreams—are grievous to witness. Yet we serve a God who is greater than any sickness or demonic force. Jesus demonstrated His authority over both when He walked the earth, healing *all* who were sick and casting out evil spirits with a word (Matthew 8:16-17). The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in those who believe (Ephesians 1:19-20), and we stand on this promise as we intercede for her complete restoration.
First, let us address the physical suffering. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we ask the Lord to sanctify your mother’s body, removing every stone, clearing every blockage, and erasing all infection. May His healing virtue flow through her common bile duct and gallbladder, restoring them to perfect function. We pray for wisdom for the doctors treating her, that their hands would be guided by the Great Physician, and that every medical intervention would align with God’s will for her healing. Let her testimony be like that of the psalmist: *"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases"* (Psalm 103:2-3, WEB).
Now, concerning the spiritual attacks in her dreams and the oppression she feels at night, we must stand firmly against the enemy. The Bible warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we are not left defenseless—*"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). We come against every demonic assignment, every black magic curse, and every evil spirit tormenting your mother in the name of Jesus Christ. By His blood and His authority, we bind these forces and command them to leave her presence, never to return. Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus as she sleeps (Philippians 4:7). May her dreams be filled with visions of God’s love and protection, and may she awaken refreshed, knowing she is hidden in the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1).
We also encourage you to ensure your mother is surrounded by prayer and the Word of God. Play worship music or readings of Scripture in her home, especially at night, to invite the presence of the Lord and drive out darkness. Remind her of Jesus’ promise: *"I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way harm you"* (Luke 10:19, WEB). Let her declare this truth over herself, rejecting fear and embracing faith.
Lastly, we urge you both to examine your hearts and home for any openness to the occult or ungodly influences, whether through objects, media, or associations. The Bible is clear: *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them"* (Ephesians 5:11, WEB). If there is anything that does not honor God, repent and remove it, for the enemy seeks a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). Walk in the light, and the blood of Jesus will continue to cleanse and protect you (1 John 1:7).

We stand against the enemy’s attacks in her dreams and the oppression she feels at night. By the blood of Jesus, we break every curse, every spell, and every demonic assignment against her. Holy Spirit, fill her home with Your presence, and let no evil force remain. Guard her mind and heart, Lord, and let her sleep be peaceful, covered by Your angels.
Strengthen her faith, Father, and let her trust in You grow deeper through this trial. Surround her with Your love and the support of Your people. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37).
