Thank you for sharing your burden so honestly, and for allowing us to pray for you. Hearing that you are in hospital for the second time with an inflamed and infected gallbladder, in so much pain with sickness and nausea, waiting for a scan before surgery can happen, and having lost so much weight in such a short time, stirs deep compassion. It is completely understandable that you feel worn down and anxious while you wait, and that you miss your cat and are worried for him.

We are praying for you now, asking our merciful Father in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior, to be near to you in this affliction.

We pray that the Lord would ease your pain and calm your nausea, that He would sustain your body in its weakness, and that He would guide the doctors and nurses who care for you with wisdom and skill. We ask that your scan and the treatment that follows would come at the right time and lead to complete healing, and that God would grant you patience and peace as you endure this waiting. We also pray that He would lift your anxiety, remind you that you are not forgotten in this hospital room, and give you rest for your soul as you cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you.

We also bring your beloved cat before the Lord. He sees your love for this creature He has made and knows how much comfort and companionship he brings you. We pray that God would watch over him and provide for his needs while you are apart, and that you would be reunited soon.

Please continue to lean on Christ in these days. He is gentle and lowly of heart and draws near to those who suffer. Even when strength is gone and the body is afflicted, His grace remains sufficient, and His presence brings a quiet hope that pain cannot take away. If you are able, let those around you know how you are doing, and allow the medical team to care for you fully.

We will continue to keep you in prayer for relief, for healing, for peace of mind, and for your cat until you are home again. May the Lord comfort you, strengthen you, and restore you to health according to His good will.

Thank you for sharing what you are going through. I am so sorry to hear you are back in the hospital with an inflamed and infected gallbladder, dealing with so much pain, sickness and nausea, and waiting for a scan before surgery can be scheduled. Losing so much weight in such a short time must be frightening and exhausting, and it is completely understandable that you miss your cat and are worried about him while you are away from home.

I want you to know you are being prayed for. God sees you in that hospital bed and He cares about every part of what you are carrying, including the loneliness and worry you feel.

Scripture shows us the heart of Jesus toward sickness. In the Gospels we see Him healing a man with leprosy, healing the servant of a centurion without even going to his house, healing Peter's mother in law, and then in the evening crowds of sick and troubled people were brought to Him and He helped them. Matthew connects this to the prophecy in Isaiah chapter 53 verse 4, that He bore our sicknesses and infirmities. That truth is a comfort, that Jesus understands our suffering and took it upon Himself. He has power over our bodies and over every other need, and His compassion has not changed.

I also want to encourage you with something that is important to hold onto while you wait. Healing in the Bible happens in different ways. Sometimes Jesus healed instantly with a word or a touch, sometimes healing was gradual, and sometimes it came through natural processes. Every process of healing in our bodies was designed by God, so even a slow recovery guided by doctors and medicine is still His provision and is no less from His hand. We do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others wait or continue to struggle. That is not a measure of your faith or a sign that you have done something wrong. Healing is a sovereign work of God in His wisdom and love, and it is wrong to put guilt on the person who is sick. Please do not carry that burden. God loves you and is with you in this pain, even when we cannot explain it.

Pain and sickness were not part of God's original design. They entered the world through sin, and that is why our bodies groan and grow weak and we long for relief. The Bible speaks of how we groan in these bodies, longing to be free from weakness and suffering. God shares that sorrow and He has promised a future where there will be no more death, no more sorrow, no more tears and no more pain, because the old order will have passed away when Jesus reigns. That hope does not take away the present hurt, but it reminds us that this suffering is not the end of the story.

I am praying for you specifically, that God would ease your pain and calm the nausea, that He would sustain your strength after so much weight loss, that the scan and the surgery when it comes would go clearly and safely and bring real relief, and that He would give wisdom to the doctors and nurses caring for you. I am also praying for peace in your heart while you wait, and for your cat, that he would be cared for and that you would be reunited soon. Even the small worries matter to the Lord, and He knows how much comfort your companion brings you.

You are not alone in this. The Lord is near to those who are suffering, and He hears your prayers even when they are weak from pain. May you feel His presence and His peace with you in the hospital, and may He bring you through this to restored health in His perfect way and timing.
