We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ### to our Heavenly Father, who alone holds the power to heal and restore every part of his being—body, soul, and mind. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your mercy and compassion as we intercede for ###’s complete healing. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he *is* healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You will restore him to wholeness in every area of his life.
Father, we specifically lift up ###’s physical health, asking for Your divine touch upon his damaged organs, especially his liver. You created his body with purpose, and we pray for supernatural restoration and renewal. Cleanse his system of all toxins and impurities from alcohol and substance abuse, and strengthen his resolve to walk in freedom. We rebuke the spirit of addiction in Jesus’ name, for it is written, “No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it” (1 Corinthians 10:13). Lord, reveal to ### the way of escape from every temptation, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit to overcome every craving.
We also pray for his mind, Lord. You have promised that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask for clarity, sound reasoning, and discernment to replace confusion, illusions, and stubbornness. Soften his heart to receive correction and wisdom from others, and let humility take root in him. Father, we rebuke every spirit of deception, pride, and mental torment that seeks to distort his thinking. We declare that ### is being transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2), and we pray for the full restoration of his mental health. Whether it is depression, anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, or any other struggle, we stand against it in the authority of Jesus’ name. You have not given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Let this truth take hold of his heart and mind.
Lord, we also bring before You the mention of schizophrenia or any other mental health challenges. We know that You are able to heal every disease and disorder, for nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:27). We pray for wisdom for the doctors and professionals involved in ###’s care, that they would be guided by Your hand. But above all, we ask for Your supernatural intervention to bring healing and wholeness to his mind and emotions.
Father, we also lift up ###’s relationship with You. If he does not yet know You as his Lord and Savior, we pray that he would come to understand the depth of Your love for him. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). There is no healing, no freedom, and no true restoration outside of a relationship with Jesus Christ. We pray that ### would surrender his life to You, repent of his sins, and invite You to be the Lord of his life. Only then can he experience the fullness of the healing and deliverance You offer.
We also pray for those around ###—family, friends, and caregivers. Give them wisdom, patience, and compassion as they support him. Let them be vessels of Your love and truth, pointing him to You in every situation.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we declare ###’s freedom from addiction, healing for his body, restoration for his mind, and peace for his soul. We trust in Your faithfulness, Lord, and we thank You for the victory that is already his in Christ. Amen.
