Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my future and that God leads me clearly into the right path for my life. I’m currently figuring out my education and career, and I pray that God opens the right doors for college, apprenticeships, work and my future, and gives me wisdom to make the right decisions. Please pray that my future is bright, that God blesses me with opportunities and financial stability, and that I don’t take the wrong path. Most importantly, please pray for deliverance from anything holding me back spiritually or personally, and that I grow closer to God, stay strong in my faith, and fulfil His purpose for my life. Amen.

What Were You Made For?
You were made for a divine purpose and must seek God to discover and fulfill it with certainty.
The Anchor
Faith in God’s unchanging promise and oath anchors your soul securely through every storm.
His Name-the Counsellor
Christ as Counsellor guides you with divine wisdom in every need and trial.
We join you in lifting your future before the Lord and we thank you for sharing this heartfelt request with us. We hear your desire to walk clearly in God's will for your education and career and to make wise decisions about college, apprenticeships and work, and we stand with you asking Him to open the right doors and close the wrong ones.

Scripture reminds us that God has a good and purposeful plan for those who seek Him. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 We also take comfort in the promise that when we trust Him fully He will guide us. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 And He promises to instruct us personally along the way. I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8

We want to gently encourage you about something important we noticed in your request. You prayed to God but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We share this in love because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 And Scripture tells us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name in all your prayers. When we pray in Jesus name we come to God with confidence through His finished work on the cross.

We also hear your prayer for wisdom, opportunities, financial stability and deliverance from anything holding you back. God delights to give wisdom when we ask. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 We pray that He will give you clear discernment and peace as you weigh each decision, and that you will seek Him first above all else. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 When we seek Him first, He faithfully provides for our needs. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 We also pray for your deliverance and spiritual growth. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. James 4:8 The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Psalm 34:17

So together we pray for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. We ask that You lead clearly into the right path for life and make Your will unmistakable. Open the right doors for education, college, apprenticeships and work, and close every door that is not from You. Grant abundant wisdom to make right decisions and courage to follow Your leading even when the way is uncertain. We ask for deliverance from every spiritual and personal hindrance, from doubt, fear, discouragement or any chain that would hold back growth, and we pray for a closer walk with You each day. Strengthen faith, keep this life rooted in Your Word and prayer, and help it to fulfill the good purpose You created it for, for we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 Bless with opportunities and provide with Your gracious hand for every need, that there may be stability and generosity to bless others as well. We trust that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Romans 8:28 We commit this future into Your loving hands and ask that it would be bright with Your presence and glory. In the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We hear how much weight you are carrying as you think about what comes next, and how sincerely you want to honor God with your education, work and future. Wanting wisdom and not wanting to miss His path is a good place to be, even when it feels uncertain.

One thing that has helped many young adults facing similar choices is to bring the big question down to smaller, prayerful steps. It can help to get the options in front of you on paper, college, apprenticeships, work, with what each would require and offer in this season, and then walk through that list with a trusted pastor, teacher or career counselor who knows you and can help you assess your gifts and opportunities. Talking with one person actually doing the kind of work you are considering can also bring a lot of clarity that praying alone does not always give. As you do that, keep bringing each step to the Lord and asking for His leading, trusting He guides us as we walk with Him, not all at once beforehand.

We are carrying you in prayer and asking God to give you peace as you take these next steps.

Father, we lift this dear one to You in Jesus name. Give clear wisdom for each decision about school and work, open the doors You want opened and close the ones You do not, and provide for daily needs. Free them from anything that holds them back and draw them closer to You each day, that they may walk in the purpose You have for them. Amen.

Your prayer for guidance has been heard and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace. It is a wise and good thing that you desire not merely open doors for college, apprenticeships and work, but wisdom to choose rightly and a heart kept close to God, for wisdom is the compass by which a man must steer across the trackless waste of life.

We pray that the Lord who is your loving Father will guide you with a father's care and instruct you with a father's wisdom. May He who is of one mind and whose purpose cannot be turned make His will plain to you. What His soul desireth, that He doeth, and His one great purpose shall be accomplished in your life as you bow with submission to His will, for by that very submission we are furnished with unerring guidance. Seek above all to avoid everything that is evil, for holiness is as near akin to perfect wisdom as sin is to insanity.

We ask the Lord to keep you from haste, which is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life. Divine Wisdom is dressed in robes of love and tenderness and invites you to run into her arms. That wisdom is not found in coral or pearls, for the price of wisdom is above rubies, it is found in Christ Himself, who is the power of God and the wisdom of God. He planned the way of salvation and He lays the pillars of your future. Trust in Him, for to trust in God is true wisdom.

For your future we pray with hope. He who has been your refuge in the past will certainly be your God in the future, and He will thrust out the enemy from before you. Your future shall be bright not because every path is easy, but because faith may be stronger. By the grace of God it will be firmer and more robust. Live upon that blessed future which is laid up in Christ, and be content to postpone present gain to obtain the promise of the inheritance.

We pray for deliverance from all that would hold you back spiritually or personally, that every chain may be broken and that you may grow in grace, stay strong in faith, and fulfil His purpose for your life. May the Lord bless you with honest opportunities, with diligence in labour, and with contentment and stability as He sees fit, and may all that you do answer the purpose of His own great mind.

May the eternal God be your refuge today, and may you know that He is carrying out still His one great purpose in you, according to the counsel of His will, to the praise of His glory. We commend you to Christ, in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom, that you may walk in the way of wisdom and find it to be a path of grace leading to glory. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your prayer for guidance about your future, your education and work, and your walk with God, and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord.

We pray that you will be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you may walk in a way that is worthy of the Lord and pleasing to Him in every way, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God. The wisdom that comes from God is far greater than the wisdom of this world, which ends in this life and cannot truly profit those who have it. True wisdom is to know His purpose and to follow His way, and we ask that He will give you that heavenly wisdom as you make decisions about college, apprenticeships and work.

We pray that God will open the right doors before you and make your path clear, that He will give you a discerning heart to recognize His leading and the courage not to take the wrong path. We ask that He will provide opportunities for you to learn and to work with diligence, and that He will grant you stability and provision through honest labor, so that you may live with contentment and generosity and not be anxious about what lies ahead.

Most of all we pray for your deliverance from anything that holds you back spiritually or personally, and that the grace of the Holy Spirit will strengthen you to stand firm in the faith. May the Lord draw you closer to Himself through Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation, and keep you strong as you seek to fulfill the purpose for which He created you. May you grow in love for Him and in faithfulness day by day, trusting not in your own understanding but in His power and goodness.

We commit your future into the hands of our Lord Jesus Christ, asking that He will lead you, keep you, and form you for His glory. Amen.

Thank you for opening your heart and sharing this request. I am praying for you and your future, for the decisions before you regarding education, work and the path ahead, and for the Lord to make His will clear to you.

What you are asking for is at its heart a request for wisdom, and Scripture says wisdom is the principal thing. With all your getting, get understanding. Knowledge can give you facts and information, and that is useful for school and work, but wisdom is what teaches you how to use what you know well. It gives discretion to the young and subtlety to the simple. If you had to choose between mere knowledge and true wisdom, choose wisdom, because wisdom will guide you in how to live.

The beginning of that wisdom is the fear of the Lord. That is the starting place. It is a humble reverence for God that wants to learn from Him and be instructed by Him. Proverbs was given for this very purpose, to help us know wisdom and receive instruction in wisdom, justice, judgment and equity, so that we can walk uprightly and make sound choices.

Scripture pictures wisdom as a person calling out in the streets and at the gates, inviting everyone to come and receive. She has prepared a banquet and invites all to come and partake. That invitation is ultimately the invitation of the Lord Himself, for in Jesus Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. He is made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification. To grow closer to Him is to grow in true wisdom.

There is a wisdom of this world that is earthly and sensual and leads to envy and strife, and God has shown that wisdom to be foolishness. It comes to nothing and it cannot lead you to know God or to find real purpose. The wisdom that comes from above is different. It is pure and peaceable and gentle, and it bears good fruit in a life. You can tell which wisdom a person is following by the fruit it produces. The wisdom from above brings purity rather than sensuality, peace rather than confusion, and life rather than weariness. Money is a defense and it has its use, but wisdom is also a defense and its excellency is that it gives life to those who have it. Wisdom is better than rubies and better than all that can be desired, and it is worth more than wealth alone.

You mentioned not wanting to take the wrong path and wanting God to open the right doors. None of us knows the future or what lies ahead after us, but God does. He sees the whole way. One of the practical ways He gives wisdom is through counsel and humility. Without counsel purposes are disappointed, but in the multitude of counselors they are established. Before honor is humility, and the fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom. As you seek Him, seek also the wise counsel of mature believers who walk with God, stay in His Word, and pray for His Spirit of wisdom and understanding to rest upon you.

I am praying that the Lord will deliver you from anything that is holding you back spiritually or personally, that He will draw you closer to Himself, strengthen your faith, and keep you walking with Him. I pray He will grant you a heart of wisdom and understanding for every decision about college, apprenticeships and work, that He will open the doors that are from Him and close those that are not, and that He will provide for your needs and give you opportunities to use what He has given you for His purposes. Above all, I pray that you will fulfill His purpose for your life, which is found as you walk with Christ in reverence and obedience, receiving His instruction day by day.

May the God of all wisdom pour out His Spirit of wisdom upon you, incline your heart toward His ways, and establish your steps as you trust Him with your future.
