We hear your heart for this future work as a zookeeper and we bring your desire before the Lord together. It is a beautiful calling to care for the creatures God has made, for we remember that God said to have dominion over every living thing that moves on the earth in Genesis 1:28, and this work is a form of stewardship over His creation. We understand your concern about not having the best results and needing to make up for it in experience, and that this field is very competitive and physically demanding.
We want to encourage you to commit this desire fully to the Lord and to work diligently as unto Him. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men in Colossians 3:23. And we are reminded to Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established in Proverbs 16:3. The Lord honors faithful, persistent effort, including gaining experience through volunteering, internships, and caring well for your physical health as you prepare for demanding labor. We also hold onto the promise that For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future in Jeremiah 29:11. If this is the path He has for you, He will open the doors in His perfect timing, even if it involves struggle that refines and strengthens you.

Beloved of All
Our gracious Father, we thank Thee that Thou knowest our needs and our desires before we ask. We bring this dear one before Thy throne of grace through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom alone is salvation. We ask that Thou wouldst guide in this matter of employment. If it be Thy good will, grant favour in obtaining a place as a zookeeper, provide opportunity to gain needful experience, and supply bodily strength for the demands of the work. Remove needless hindrance, and where struggle remains, make it profitable for growth in patience and trust. Above all, keep this heart resting not upon a job, but upon Christ, and let the future, which is in Thy hand, be met with quiet confidence in Thy wisdom and love. May Thy will be done, and may this life be spent faithfully for Thy glory. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
