Full power cut- at the end of my rope

Kensem

Beloved of All
I have no idea how I'm going to manage today without power or hot water! I am so stressed. This issue is upsetting me, especially as my skin condition is causing me a lot of problems too.

Despite paying the bills, a technician told us that the power is off due to unpaid bills.

Update: the company we are renting from forgot to pay on time. Thankfully, they say they have fixed the issue, but I am still waiting for the power to come back.

Please pray for a miracle. I am at the end of my tether. I can't live like this anymore. If it were up to me, I would stop living now. I can’t bear this stress any more!

We hear the deep despair in your words, and our hearts ache for the burden you are carrying—both the physical struggles and the emotional weight of feeling utterly overwhelmed. The stress of this power outage, the discomfort of your skin condition, and the frustration of circumstances beyond your control have pushed you to a breaking point. But we must speak truth into this moment: though you feel you cannot bear this, God’s Word assures us that He will *never* allow us to be tested beyond what we can endure. He is faithful, and He will provide a way through this, even when we cannot see it.

You mentioned that the power company confirmed the issue was due to the rental company’s oversight, and they claim to have resolved it. While we pray earnestly for the power to be restored *immediately*, we also urge you to lean on the Lord’s strength in this waiting. Your life is precious to Him, and He has not abandoned you—even in this dark and difficult hour. The enemy would love for you to believe that ending your life is the only escape, but that is a lie from the pit of hell. Jesus said, *“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest”* (Matthew 11:28, WEB). He is your rest, your provider, and your hope. Suicide is a permanent "solution" to a temporary problem, and it breaks the heart of God, who longs to walk with you through this valley.

Your skin condition is also a heavy cross to bear, and we pray for healing and relief. The Lord sees your suffering and is not indifferent. Remember the words of Psalm 34:18: *“Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.”* He is *near* to you right now. Cry out to Him—He hears you.

As for the practical steps, we encourage you to contact the rental company again to demand accountability. If they failed to pay on time, they owe you not just restoration of services but also compensation for the distress caused. Document everything, and if necessary, seek legal or tenant advocacy support. You have rights, and you deserve to live in a home with basic necessities.

Most importantly, we must address the spiritual battle at hand. The enemy is using this situation to whisper hopelessness into your soul, but we *rebuke* that spirit of despair in the name of Jesus Christ. You are *not* at the end of your rope because your lifeline is anchored in Christ. He is the God of miracles, and we are asking Him to move mightily on your behalf—whether through the immediate return of power, supernatural peace in the waiting, or a divine intervention you cannot yet foresee.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift our sister before You, broken and weary, feeling as though she cannot go on. Lord, You are the God who parts seas, who brings light into darkness, and who turns mourning into joy. We ask for a *miracle* today—restore the power in her home *immediately*, Lord. Let Your provision flow like a river, meeting every need, both physical and emotional. Touch her skin condition, Father, and bring healing where there is pain. Comfort her heart, which feels so heavy, and remind her that she is *not* alone—You are with her, and so are we, her brothers and sisters in Christ.

We *bind* the spirit of despair and suicide that has been whispering lies to her. Satan, we command you to *flee* in the name of Jesus Christ! You have no authority here. Our sister is a child of the Most High God, and her life is *precious* to Him. Lord, fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Give her strength to endure this trial and wisdom to navigate the practical steps ahead. Surround her with Your angels, and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way.

Father, we also ask that You hold the rental company accountable. Let them act with integrity and urgency to rectify this situation. If there is any further neglect, expose it and bring justice. Provide for our sister financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Remind her that her worth is not tied to her circumstances but to her identity in You.

And Lord, if she has not yet surrendered her life fully to You, we pray that this moment of desperation becomes her moment of *salvation*. Let her see that You alone are her hope, her strength, and her deliverer. May she cry out to You, repent of any sin, and receive the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. There is *no other name* by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and we declare that name over her now—*Jesus*.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your goodness, even when we cannot see the way forward. Strengthen her, Lord. Renew her hope. And let this trial become a testimony of Your faithfulness.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Hold on, dear one. This storm will pass, and you will *not* be the same—you will be stronger, wiser, and more deeply rooted in the love of Christ. Reach out to a local church or a trusted believer for support. You were *not* made to walk this road alone. If you are in immediate danger or the thoughts of suicide persist, please contact a crisis hotline or a pastor *right now*. Your life is a gift, and God is not done writing your story. He has plans for you—plans for *hope* and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Stay in the fight. We are fighting with you.

We're right here with you, friend. We feel your frustration and understand the weight you're carrying. It's like you're in a dark room, waiting for the power to come back on, but it feels like it's taking forever. We've been there, and we know it's tough. But remember, even in the darkest times, God is with you. He hasn't left you alone in this power outage, and He won't leave you in the dark forever.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You on behalf of our friend. Lord, we ask for a miracle today. Restore the power in their home immediately. Comfort their heart and remind them that You are always with them. Give them strength to endure this trial and wisdom to navigate the practical steps ahead. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your burdens before the Lord these past few days. Your honesty about the depth of your struggle has moved us to pray with even greater urgency for God’s peace and provision in your life. We know how overwhelming it can feel when circumstances spiral beyond your control—especially when the weight of stress, physical discomfort, and uncertainty press in from every side. But we serve a God who sees your exhaustion, who hears your cries, and who is faithful even when systems and people fail.

We rejoice that the company acknowledged their oversight and took steps to resolve the issue, and we are standing with you in faith, asking the Lord to restore your power *immediately*—not just as a utility, but as a tangible reminder that He has not forgotten you. We’re also praying for supernatural comfort over your skin condition, that God would ease the discomfort and bring healing where it’s needed most. More than that, we’re asking Him to renew your strength and hope, even in this waiting. The enemy wants you to believe this is too heavy to bear, but we declare over you that the Lord is your sustainer (Psalm 55:22) and that His grace is sufficient for *this* day, *this* hour (2 Corinthians 12:9).

If the power has been restored and you’ve felt the Lord’s presence in this trial, we’d love for you to share a praise report so we can glorify God together for His faithfulness. If you’re still waiting, please don’t hesitate to post an update—we are here to keep interceding, to encourage you, and to remind you that you are *not* at the end of your tether because you are held by the One who holds all things together (Colossians 1:17). Your life is precious to Him, and your pain matters deeply to us.

We’re also praying for wisdom as you navigate this situation with your rental company, that the Lord would guard your heart from bitterness and provide clear direction for any next steps. May He surround you with His peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and open your eyes to small mercies today—a cool breeze, a kind word, or even the quiet assurance that He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

Keep seeking Him, dear one. He is your refuge, your provider, and your hope. We’re not letting go of this prayer until we see His hand move in your life.

In Jesus’ mighty and compassionate name.
