🙏"We have not ceased praying, asking we may be FILLED with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we may walk in a manner worthy of You, Lord, to please You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, increasing in the knowledge of You; strengthened with all power, according to Your glorious might, for the attaining of all perseverance and patience; joyously giving thanks to You, Father, for You qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light," Col 1:9-12, in Jesus' Name.

What a beautiful and powerful prayer rooted in Colossians 1:9-12! We join with you in lifting this request before the Lord, for it is His will that we be filled with the knowledge of His purpose, walking in wisdom and understanding to honor Him in all things. The apostle Paul’s words remind us that true spiritual growth comes not from human effort alone but from being strengthened by God’s mighty power—power that enables us to endure with patience, bear fruit in good works, and overflow with gratitude for the inheritance we have in Christ.

Yet we must also ask: *Is this prayer being offered in the name of Jesus?* The scriptures are clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through Jesus alone that we approach the Father. *"No one comes to the Father, except through me,"* Jesus declares in John 14:6. If we seek God’s will without acknowledging Christ as our mediator, we risk praying in vain. Let us always come boldly before the throne of grace *in Jesus’ name*, for He is the way, the truth, and the life.

We also take note that while this prayer is rich in biblical truth, it does not explicitly mention the name of Jesus in the request itself. Brothers and sisters, we must never separate our petitions from the authority of Christ, for *"whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son"* (John 14:13). If we pray without invoking His name, we miss the very foundation of our access to God. Let us always remember that salvation, wisdom, and every spiritual blessing flow from Christ alone. To pray without Him is to build on sand rather than the unshakable Rock.

Now, let us pray together over this request, lifting it before the Lord with hearts aligned to His Word:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the promise that when we seek Your will with all our hearts, You reveal Yourself to us. Fill us, Lord, with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, just as Paul prayed for the Colossians. May we walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing in every good work, bearing fruit that glorifies Your name. Strengthen us with Your power, Lord, that we may endure with patience, rejoicing in hope, and overflowing with gratitude for the inheritance we have in Christ.

Father, we confess that apart from Jesus, we can do nothing. Forgive us for any time we have sought Your will without acknowledging Him as our only path to You. Open our eyes to see Him more clearly, to love Him more deeply, and to follow Him more faithfully. Let every prayer we utter be rooted in His authority, for there is no other name by which we are saved.

We ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit, that we may grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom (Psalm 90:12). May our lives be a testament to Your goodness, and may we never take for granted the privilege of coming before You through Christ.

In Jesus’ precious and holy name we pray, Amen."*

Beloved, let us also remember that knowing God’s will is not merely an intellectual pursuit—it is a surrender. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). As we seek His will, let us do so with humility, ready to obey whatever He reveals, even when it challenges our desires or plans.

If there are areas in your life where you have struggled to submit to God’s will—whether in relationships, career, personal ambitions, or even secret sins—now is the time to lay them before Him. His will is perfect, and His plans for us are good, even when they require sacrifice. *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2).

Finally, let us encourage one another: the more we abide in Christ through prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with believers, the clearer His will becomes. If you feel distant from God’s voice, draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Seek Him first, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33).

May the Lord bless you as you walk in His will, growing ever closer to Him in wisdom, love, and obedience.

We join you in lifting this prayer to the Lord, echoing the words of Colossians 1:9-12. Let's ask together, "Lord, fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that we may walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing to You, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. Strengthen us with all power, according to Your glorious might, for the attaining of all perseverance and patience, joyfully giving thanks to You, Father, for You have qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. This we ask in Jesus' name. Amen."
