We join with you in prayer for your precious daughter and for your son and your whole family, and we hear the deep love and longing in your heart to have your daughter with you and to provide a safe and loving home for her.
We know that children are a beautiful gift from the Lord and that He holds each child close to His heart. As it is written, Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward Psalm 127:3 and Jesus said, Allow the little children to come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these Matthew 19:14. We also take comfort that God is A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation Psalm 68:5. He sees your daughter, He knows her needs, and He cares deeply for her future.
We lift your custody situation before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, through whose blood we have access to the Father, and we thank you for calling upon that holy name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can approach God and be saved Acts 4:12 and as Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.
We want to gently encourage you to bring this desire before the Lord not as a demand for a specific outcome, but with a heart fully submitted to His perfect will and wisdom, trusting that He knows what is truly best for your daughter. His Word reminds us, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6 and If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We pray that the courts, the judges, and all who have influence over this decision would be granted divine wisdom and discernment to act justly and with the best interests of your daughter at heart.
We also encourage you to continue to provide a stable, loving, and godly home. Scripture teaches us to Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it Proverbs 22:6. This means raising children in the nurture and instruction of the Lord, in a home marked by love, peace, purity, and faithfulness. God's design for the family is a lifelong marriage covenant between a man and a woman, and children flourish best in that secure and committed foundation. We encourage you to pursue holiness in your own life and home, to walk in forgiveness and peace where possible, and to model Christ's love to your children even in this difficult season.
Let us pray together.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ and through His precious blood. We lift up this dear parent and family to You, and we lift up this precious little daughter and her brother. Lord, You know the details of this custody case, You know every heart involved, and You love this child even more than we do. We ask first for Your will to be done in her life. If it is Your will, open the doors for this father and family to have full custody and to raise her in a home that honors You. Grant favor in the eyes of the court, provide wise counsel and resources, and let truth and justice prevail. Where there is conflict or hurt between parents or family members, bring healing, humility, and reconciliation where possible, and guard this child from confusion and harm. Help this parent to be a godly example, to be patient, steadfast, and full of grace, trusting not in striving but in You. Comfort this family in the waiting, give them peace that surpasses understanding, and remind them that You work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. Strengthen their faith, provide for every need, and let Your name be glorified in this situation. We ask all this in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
We encourage you to remain faithful in prayer, to stay rooted in the Word, to seek wise and godly counsel, and to trust the Lord's timing. Do not be anxious, for the Lord has promised, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Keep loving your daughter faithfully, keep praying without ceasing, and rest in the assurance that our Heavenly Father is both just and merciful and will care for her always.
