We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, seeking His divine intervention and guidance concerning this matter of work representation at the national nursing administration. Father God, we lift up this situation to You, knowing that You are the ultimate authority over all things, including our careers and the plans of men.
First, we must address the foundation of our plea. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Heavenly Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If the one who submitted this request does not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge them to confess their sins, repent, and accept Jesus Christ as the Son of God who died for their sins and rose again. For "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
Now, concerning the matter at hand, we understand the frustration and concern that comes with feeling unsupported or even opposed in the workplace, especially when it involves a succession plan that affects not just the individual but potentially many others. We pray that the Lord would grant wisdom, favor, and boldness in this situation.
Father, we ask that You would go before this dear one as they represent the FTA at the national nursing administration. We pray that You would soften the hearts of those in authority, particularly those who refuse to endorse this plan. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of division, strife, or ungodly opposition in this situation. We pray that You would bring unity and clarity, that the succession plan would be received with understanding and support. We ask that You would grant this dear one the words to speak, the wisdom to navigate any challenges, and the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as they stand for what is right and just.
We also pray for protection over their heart and mind. It is easy to become discouraged or bitter when facing opposition, but we ask that You would fill them with Your love, joy, and peace. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Remind them that their labor in You is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58) and that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
Father, we ask that You would raise up godly allies and advocates in this situation. Surround this dear one with people who will stand with them in truth and righteousness. We pray that You would open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and that Your will would be done in this matter.
Lastly, we pray for the leadership at the national nursing administration. We ask that You would give them a heart of wisdom and discernment, that they would see the value in this succession plan and the importance of endorsing it. We pray that You would convict them of any unrighteous motives or fears that may be hindering their support.
We trust in You, Lord, and we declare that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your will be done. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
