Mark Chapter 10
10:1 And he arose from there and comes into the borders of Judea and beyond the Jordan: and multitudes come together to him again; and, as he was accustomed, he taught them again.
10:2 And Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to divorce [his] wife? trying him.
10:3 And he answered and said to them, What did Moses command you+?
10:4 And they said, Moses allowed to write a bill of divorce, and to divorce.
10:5 But Jesus said to them, For your+ hardness of heart he wrote you+ this commandment.
10:6 But from the beginning of the creation, Male and female he made them.
10:7 For this cause will a man leave his father and mother, and will stick to his wife;
10:8 and the two will become one flesh: so that they are no more two, but one flesh.
10:9 What therefore God has joined together, don't let man separate.
10:10 And in the house the disciples asked him again of this matter.
10:11 And he says to them, Whoever divorces his wife, and marries another, commits adultery against her:
10:12 and if she herself divorced her husband, and marries another, she commits adultery.
Romans Chapter 7
7:2 For the woman who has a husband is bound by law to the husband while he lives; but if the husband dies, she is discharged from the law of the husband.
7:3 So then if, while the husband lives, she is joined to another man, she will be called an adulteress: but if the husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is no adulteress, though she is joined to another man.
1 Corinthians
7:10 But to the married I give charge, [yes] not I, but the Lord, That the wife is not to depart from her husband,
7:11 but should she depart, let her stay unmarried, or let her be reconciled to her husband; and that the husband is not to leave his wife.
