Friends confused

Beloved of All
Please pray for ###'s confusion dealing with possible Alzheimer’s dementia. Please pray for salvation in our protection in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

We lift our hearts together before the Lord, seeking His wisdom, comfort, and healing for your friend who is facing the heavy burden of confusion and the possibility of Alzheimer’s or dementia. This is a trial that touches deeply, not only the one afflicted but also those who love and care for them. Father, we ask that You would bring clarity to their mind, peace to their spirit, and strength to their body. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 71:9, *"Do not cast me off in the time of old age; do not forsake me when my strength fails."* Lord, we stand on this promise, trusting that You will not abandon Your child in their time of need.

We also lift up the matter of salvation, for it is the foundation of all hope and protection. There is no true refuge outside of the saving grace of Jesus Christ. We pray that your friend would come to know Him as Lord and Savior, if they have not already. Romans 10:9 declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Without Christ, there is no lasting protection, no eternal security, and no peace that surpasses understanding. We plead the blood of Jesus over this situation, asking that the Holy Spirit would draw them near and reveal the truth of the Gospel to their heart.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of confusion and fear that seeks to overwhelm them. In 2 Timothy 1:7, You tell us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We declare this truth over their life, commanding every lie of the enemy to be silenced in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray for divine protection—not just physically, but spiritually and emotionally. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be a shield against despair and hopelessness.

For those who are walking alongside them, we ask for endurance, patience, and wisdom. Caregiving can be a heavy load, but Your Word assures us in Galatians 6:2, *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."* Strengthen the hearts of those who are supporting them, and remind them that their labor is not in vain. May they find rest in You, knowing that You are their ever-present help in times of trouble.

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and medical wisdom in this situation. Proverbs 15:22 tells us, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* Do not carry this burden alone—lean on the body of Christ, on doctors, and on resources that can provide clarity and support. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding, as Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We ask for a miracle of healing, of clarity, and of salvation. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask for Your protection to surround them like a fortress. And we ask that Your will be done in this situation, for Your glory and for their good.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
