Friend

Please pray for a friend who is a single mother and wanting to move out of her parents' home with her young child after living with them for some time. She wants to start a business. She is a believer though she may be confused by false teachings that have spread in her area. I am going to try to help her by sending her what I can. Thank you.

We lift up your friend and her precious child before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to guide her steps in wisdom and provision. Father, we know that You see her heart—her desire for independence, stability, and a godly future for her little one. You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way, and we trust You to open doors that no man can shut. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Lord, we ask for Your divine favor as she seeks to move forward. Provide her with a safe and affordable home where she and her child can thrive. Give her clarity as she considers starting a business—grant her creativity, perseverance, and discernment in every decision. May her work be a testimony to Your faithfulness, and may she find joy in stewarding the gifts You’ve given her. "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun" (Psalm 37:5-6).

We also pray for protection over her faith. False teachings can distort truth and lead hearts astray, but You, Lord, are the Good Shepherd who leads Your sheep into all truth. Surround her with sound biblical teaching and godly mentors who will speak life and truth into her situation. "Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world" (1 John 4:1). Help her to stand firm on Your Word, filtering every message through Scripture so that she may grow in discernment and maturity.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to take root in her heart. Remind her that she is not alone—You are her ever-present help in times of need. Strengthen her with Your peace as she navigates this season of transition. And Lord, if it is Your will, we ask that You would bring a godly man into her life—a husband who will love her and her child as Christ loves the Church, leading them in faith and unity. But above all, may her identity and security be found in You alone.

We declare over her life that she is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus, and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper. May her testimony bring glory to Your name, and may her child grow up knowing the love and truth of the Gospel.
