We join you in lifting up your friend before the throne of grace as he meets with a lawyer tomorrow concerning the abuse he has faced in his job, and we are encouraged that you have called upon the name of our Lord Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.
We know that God sees every injustice and He is a God of justice and mercy. He is a refuge for those who are oppressed and He delights when truth and righteousness prevail. Deuteronomy 32:4 says The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he. And Psalm 9:9 reminds us Yahweh will be a high tower for the oppressed, a high tower in times of trouble. We also take comfort in Micah 6:8 which says He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
We pray together for your friend now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we bring this dear friend before You. You know the details of what has happened at his workplace, every hurt and every abuse, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would go before him tomorrow and grant him favor and clarity. Give wisdom to the lawyer who will counsel and defend him, that he would have discernment and integrity. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, so we ask for that wisdom to be poured out on both of them. Let truth be spoken clearly and let all deception be exposed, for Proverbs 21:15 says It is joy to the righteous to do justice, but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity. We pray that if it is Your will, You would grant him a strong defense and a just outcome, and that even beyond a legal win, he would experience Your peace, vindication and restoration. Guard his heart from bitterness and help him to walk in honesty and humility through this process, trusting that Your justice will ultimately prevail. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, Amen.
We encourage you and your friend to continue to commit this matter to the Lord and to trust His sovereign will, whether the answer comes as a swift victory or through a longer path. God is our ultimate advocate and Defender, and He will not forsake those who seek Him. We will keep standing with you in prayer that the Lord would bring justice, peace, and a renewed opportunity for your friend to work in a place of dignity and respect.

We have heard your earnest and repeated cry for your friend and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace on his behalf.
You have asked that tomorrow, as he goes to the lawyer to seek defense against the abuse he has suffered in his employment, the Lord would grant him favor and a true opportunity to be heard. We take this burden to the Lord with you, remembering that because the foe is too strong for us, therefore will we turn to our God and invoke His omnipotence as our defense. The Eternal God is our refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms.
How glorious is that picture of Moses with uplifted hands upon the hill giving victory to Joshua in the plain below. Those uplifted hands were worth ten thousand men, for they brought down Omnipotence itself from Heaven. So now we lift up our hands in prayer for your friend, that the Lord, Jehovah Nissi, who is the banner of the fight and the giver of the victory, would be his defender. When foes rage we need not fear their fury, for our confidence is not in man but in God.
We pray that the Lord would grant wisdom to the counselor he meets, clarity to your friend as he speaks, and justice to be upheld. We know that our Lord Jesus Christ has won the great victory, and through Him we are more than conquerors. He has poured out His soul unto death that justice might be satisfied and that His people might share in His triumph. May your friend know that whether the outcome be as we hope or as the Lord in wisdom ordains, he is upheld by those everlasting arms and shall end his journey well as he trusts in Him.
We pray that the Lord in His mercy would go before your friend tomorrow, prepare the way, give him peace, grant him a fair hearing, and if it be His gracious will, grant him the defense and deliverance he seeks. May the Spirit of the Lord achieve the victory where the strength of man fails, and may your friend see the favor and love of God displayed toward him.
