We understand your concern for your friend and the spiritual turmoil you're experiencing. It's important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We must put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

It is crucial to maintain integrity and honesty in all our dealings, avoiding gossip, lies, and any form of corrupt communication. Proverbs 16:28 indeed warns us that a perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends.
We must also address the fact that while you mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your rebuke, it is essential to approach God through Jesus in all our prayers and requests.
