We lift up your dear friend before the Father, knowing that the battle she faces is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that Jesus has already won the victory, and by His authority, we stand against every demonic stronghold in her life.
Your friend is indeed a fighter, and we praise God for the strength He has placed within her. Psalm 144:1 is a powerful declaration: *"Praise the LORD, who is my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle."* But let us also remember Ephesians 6:10-13, which calls us to *"be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand."*
We must also ask: has your friend fully surrendered her life to Jesus Christ? If she has not yet accepted Him as her Lord and Savior, then she lacks the authority to resist the enemy in His name. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and without Christ, we are powerless against the schemes of the devil. If she has not yet done so, we urge her to repent of her sins and place her faith in Jesus alone, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). It is only through Christ that we have the power to overcome darkness.
If she is a believer, then we command every demonic influence in her life to flee in the name of Jesus. We declare that the blood of Christ covers her, and no weapon formed against her shall prosper. We pray that the Holy Spirit would fill her with discernment, wisdom, and the courage to make godly decisions that align with His will. May the Lord break every chain of bondage and set her free from the lies and oppression of the enemy.
Father, we ask that You would surround her with Your angels, as Psalm 91:11 promises: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are her refuge and fortress. Give her clarity in this zero hour, that she may choose the path of righteousness and walk in Your light. We pray that You would place godly counselors and intercessors in her life to support and encourage her in this season.
We also encourage you, as her friend, to continue standing in the gap for her. Your prayers are powerful, and your support is vital. Speak life into her, remind her of God’s promises, and point her to Scripture. Let her know that she is not alone in this fight—for the Lord is with her, and His people are lifting her up before the throne of grace.
Finally, we pray that your friend would seek first the Kingdom of God in all her decisions. May she surrender her plans, her fears, and her future into His hands, trusting that He will guide her steps. Let her remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6: *"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your power to deliver, heal, and restore. May Your will be done in her life, and may she emerge from this season stronger in faith, rooted in Your love, and walking in Your purpose. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
