Me developoing my french language skills.
Lord help me to find the best strategy - teacher, reading, listening etc...also constant motivation and inspiration.

I also finished 2 crash courses in latin dances. I would like to carry on because of my physical and mental health. Dance, music were always my passion. I am ###, single and it does me good.

If i enroll during the school year please let my working schedule and train/bus schedule perfectly fit with dance classes. I would be so happy.

We hear your heart’s desire to grow in wisdom and joy through language and dance, and we lift these passions before the Lord with gratitude. Every good gift comes from Him, and He delights in seeing His children flourish in the talents and interests He has placed within them.

Father, we thank You for the gift of language and the beauty of communication. We ask that You guide ### in finding the best strategy to develop her French skills, whether through a godly teacher, immersive reading, or consistent listening practice. Grant her discipline and motivation, reminding her that "whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23). May she find joy in the process, knowing that growth takes time and patience, and that You are with her every step of the way.

We also rejoice in the way dance has blessed her physically and mentally. The Lord created movement and music for His glory, and it is good that she finds strength and refreshment in them. We pray that as she continues in Latin dance, You would open doors for her to attend classes that fit seamlessly with her work and transportation schedule. "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established" (Proverbs 16:3). May she find community in these classes, encouragement in the rhythm of the music, and peace in the movement of her body.

Lord, we also lift up her singleness before You. While society often pressures individuals to seek relationships for fulfillment, we know that true contentment comes from You alone. We pray that ### would find her identity and joy in Christ, trusting that He has a perfect plan for her life. If it is Your will for her to marry, we ask that You prepare her heart for a godly spouse, one who loves You above all else and who will walk with her in faith. Until then, may she use this season to deepen her relationship with You, serve others, and pursue the passions You’ve placed in her heart.

We rebuke any lie that tells her she is incomplete without a spouse. You are her provider, her strength, and her joy. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). May she find fulfillment in You alone, knowing that You are enough.

Finally, we pray that all these pursuits, language learning, dance, and daily life, would be done for Your glory. May ### grow closer to You through them, and may her life reflect Your love and grace to those around her. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

For your French learning, sometimes motivation follows a small, doable rhythm rather than a perfect strategy right away. Maybe try experimenting gently: a short daily listening clip, a simple app, or even labeling a few things around your home. Let yourself enjoy the process without pressure, and notice what stirs your curiosity. God cares about the details of your growth, even in language.

And as you look at dance class schedules, we’d encourage you to take a practical step: check the timetables, map out your commute, and then simply lay those specifics before the Lord. He knows your work and travel constraints, and He delights when we bring even these practical hopes to Him. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

Let’s pray: Father, thank you for the joy this daughter of yours finds in learning and movement. Please guide her toward a French routine that fits her life and keeps her inspired. For her dance classes, we ask you to make a way, open up a schedule that works with her commitments and transportation. To desire the mastery of a new tongue and the discipline of the dance for health of body and mind is no small matter, yet every earthly pursuit must be set beneath the one great calling: to learn Christ! You seek a strategy for your French, reading, a teacher, listening, but the soul’s true method lies in a personal acquaintance with a personal Savior. You may fill your head with grammar and vocabulary, but if you have not heard His voice in your own heart, your learning is a mere mirage, a vapor that disappears. My sheep hear My voice, saith the Good Shepherd. Let that be the first language you acquire, and all other study will fall into its proper place. The Apostles were given to speak the tongues of men, but only that they might publish the gospel. Perhaps your French may one day serve a personal service for the King, yet it is the personal revelation of Christ by the Father that alone can make any soul truly wise.

You speak of dance, music, and the passion that quickens your frame and lifts your spirit. Physically and mentally such exercise may do you good, and in this single estate it brings a wholesome joy. But remember, the deepest mirth of the believer rises not from the rhythm of instruments but from the assurance of God’s special love. Faith perceives that it is even so, and then we are ready to dance for joy upon the high-sounding cymbals of redemption! Let that spiritual exultation be the wellspring of all your days. The world’s amusements, if they are innocent, may be taken with thanksgiving, but they must never become the staff you lean upon, lest your soul grow discontent with its own company and forget to draw contentment from personal union with Christ.

As for the fitting of your working hours and the trains and buses to the class, you have a personal Providence, a personal God listening to your prayers. The Lord has listened to my voice when I have cried to Him, this I know from a chain of personal facts, and He will not turn a deaf ear to you. Cast this care upon Him, and if He sees that the enrollment is for your good and His glory, the very schedules of this world shall bow to His will. But be earnest in prayer, for with faith in prayer you have heaven’s infinite treasures at your disposal. Only remember: your confidence is not founded upon any personal merit, but upon the promise of a faithful God.

Yet take heed that your learning and your dancing do not crowd out the inward life. That book, the Bible, must not become a cold task; it must be the companion that makes you happy all the day long. It is a personal experience of His power over the heart that makes religion a solid truth, a reality that holds fast when all else fails. Then, whether you decline a French verb or take your place upon the floor, do all to the glory of God, and let the grace which has quickened your dead morality fill your lips with language, language that speaks of the mercy that is multiplied upon mercy, forgiving, regenerating, and making all things new.

When you ask for the best strategy in learning French, consider how much more diligently you should pursue the knowledge of the Scriptures. We enter battle without arms when we neglect them, and how can we come off safe? Yet here you are, seeking a teacher and constant motivation for an earthly tongue. Apply this same zeal to the divine oracles. You have finished crash courses and wish to carry on for your physical and mental health. This is not wrong in itself, for a physician seeks to bring the body to good health. But remember, the health of the soul is of far greater account. If you spend such care on the body which perishes, what care do you give to the soul which is immortal? Do not be forever learning the things of this world yet never coming to the knowledge of the truth. The publican was set free from his fever of covetousness by obeying the Physician. Let your passion for dance and music not become a new fever that crowds out the one thing needful.

You desire that your working schedule and the train schedule perfectly fit with dance classes, and you would be so happy. But examine this happiness. Is it the happiness of one who bears poverty of spirit lightly, or is it a happiness that depends on the alignment of worldly conveniences? He is rich who does not desire to become rich; he is not poor who has nought, but he who desires many things. If your heart is set on these classes as a necessity for your well-being, you may find yourself poorer than you know, even if the buses run on time. For the mind made turbid by the confusion of earthly passions mistakes the object presented to it, like a disordered eye. You say you are single and it does you good. Let it do you good in moderation, not as a master you must serve. Come to the spiritual fountain not carelessly. Do not assign only the crumbs of your time to propitiating God and expect the rest to fall into place for your amusement. Make the condition of your soul the central strategy, and let every other pursuit follow in its proper, lesser place.

It is a beautiful thing when the desires of your heart bring together the strengthening of your mind, the refreshing of your body, and the joy of your spirit. The Scriptures rightly observe that a merry heart does good like a medicine, and we are discovering more and more how closely our physical health is tied to our emotional and mental well‑being. When you speak of dance and music as lifelong passions that do you good, I hear a genuine echo of that truth. It is not a guarantee that you will never face illness or hardship, but it is a wise and good thing to pursue activities that help your whole being flourish.

I also smile to think of David dancing before the Lord with all his might, and of the psalmist calling us to praise His name in the dance, with timbrel and strings and joyful leaping. Dance can be a form of praise, a celebration of the life God has given. As you continue with those Latin classes, I would simply encourage you to carry that same spirit: dance as one who is whole and grateful, not for show or competition, but as a glad offering to the Lord who delights in His people. When motivation rises from that place, it is sustainable and pure.

As for your French studies, you are asking for wisdom in the strategy, and that itself is a mark of a soul that wants to learn well. The learning itself, whether of a language or of God’s ways in the wilderness, is often how He prepares us for what lies ahead. I have seen that as we study and practice, God uses even the small disciplines to build trust and patience in us. Keep asking Him to guide you to the right teacher, the right materials, the right rhythm, and He will direct your steps. Above all, let your motivation be deeper than passing excitement. Set your heart on learning so that you might serve more fully, love more broadly, and reflect His grace in every conversation.

The practical details of schedules and train times are not too small for God. He cares about the minutes and the connections. Bring those requests before Him with a grateful, trusting heart, and then rest in His timing. He does not always work as quickly as we wish, but His ways are never late. Whether the classes align perfectly or require some adjustment, He will be with you in the process, teaching you deeper reliance.

May you prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospers, not as a formula that demands a certain outcome, but as the loving prayer of one who sees your hunger for things that are good, true, and beautiful. Keep cultivating your mind and your body as a vessel for His glory, and know that He takes pleasure in you as you follow that joy.
