Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your older daughter and for your family.
We have been lifting up your older daughter before the Lord and asking Him to grant her supernatural clarity, courage and wisdom to release herself swiftly and completely from this toxic relationship. We have prayed with you that the control, disrespect, manipulation and isolation would be exposed for what it truly is, and that everyone around her would see the dark path and the spiritual attacks, exhaustion, financial hardship, division and chaos this relationship has brought. We have also been praying for your younger daughter and her boyfriend, asking for a hedge of protection around them from this negative and divisive influence, and that your older daughter would see the contrast of a beautiful and godly courtship that honors marriage and remember the biblical values she was raised on.
We continue to declare with you that this young man and his mother will not steal her independence, her self worth, her peace, her purpose or her fellowship and unity with her family. We are asking the Lord to show her that she is not being loved but being used, that greed, laziness, control and dishonesty are not love, and that living together outside of marriage is not a marriage and is not a home. We pray she will stop idolizing this young man and his mother, stop seeking counsel from them, and hear the Lord whisper to her heart that she is His daughter and that He will provide for, protect and restore everything the enemy has tried to take from her. We pray she will see this young man as he truly is and that the Lord will gently guide her to move back home and be restored in her faith, freedom, peace and fellowship with you and her siblings. We stand on the promise in Gal 5:1 that it is for freedom that Christ has set us free, and in Psalm 91:1 that those who dwell in the shelter of the Most High will rest in His protection.
