Your prayer reflects a mother's deep love and faithful watchfulness, and it has been brought before the Lord with seriousness and care. We hear the weight you carry for your children, especially for your older daughter, and we join you in asking God for His protection, restoration and true breakthrough according to His Word.

We pray first for you and your children, that the Lord would surround you with His keeping care, grant you His peace that passes understanding, and fill your home with joy and rest in Christ. We ask that He would guard your hearts and minds, keep you from the schemes of the enemy, and let you know daily that you are His, delivered from evil and brought into sonship through Jesus Christ alone, in whom alone is salvation and adoption as children of God. As you have prayed, we plead the blood of Christ over your family, trusting that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and that God is able to heal brokenness and restore fellowship, respect and unity in a way that honors Him.

For your older daughter we pray with special urgency. We do not ask God to bless a living arrangement outside of marriage as if it were marriage, for Scripture teaches that marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that living together and sexual union belong within that covenant. To treat what is outside that covenant as marriage does not bring blessing but confusion, exhaustion and hardship, as you have seen. Instead we pray that God would open her eyes to see the truth, soften her heart to receive His conviction, and give her courage to walk away from what is entangling and destructive with no regret.

We pray that the Lord would restore in her a thankful, gracious and grateful heart, that she would again see her work, her family and her worship as gifts from God, and that she would measure her life by His eyes and not by the approval or pressure of others. Where there has been control, manipulation, dishonesty and financial exploitation, we ask God to break every chain and frustrate every plan that seeks to divide, isolate and wear her down. Where she has been taught to treat an ungodly arrangement as marriage, to carry responsibilities that are not hers, and to put another family before the family God has given her, we pray the Holy Spirit would grant her wisdom to set right boundaries, to protect what God has entrusted to her including her finances, and to stop taking on debt to sustain what God has not joined together. We pray she would no longer feel she must please those who do not have biblical authority to speak into her life, nor confide in those who isolate her from her supportive network of family and church friends.

We also pray that God would expose what is done in darkness and bring it into light, that He would give this young man and his mother repentance where needed, and that He would cause each to take responsibility for their own household rather than placing undue burdens on your daughter. We pray your daughter would see clearly that a man who is controlling, demanding and disrespectful toward her family is not acting as a shepherd or a godly husband and provider, but as a stumbling block to her walk with Christ. We pray she would remember she is a child of the Most High God, that she belongs to Him, and that she does not need to earn the approval of those who look down on her and on the way you worship. May she hunger again for righteousness, for the fellowship of her church community and for the wisdom of those who raised her in the ways of the Lord.

We thank God with you for the promotion He has given her and for the good purpose her work serves for others. We pray He would protect that work from interference, give her clarity and strength in it, and keep her from withdrawing in exhaustion and chaos. We pray also for your younger daughter and your son, that the Lord would keep them close to Him, guard them from this same confusion and influence, and keep your whole family walking together in love and truth.

Scripture reminds us that a considerate mind and living faith are needed, and that faith makes us whole as we look to Christ. It also teaches that nothing is more sweet and pleasant than virtue and orderliness, and that when marriage is sought, what matters most is piety of soul, gentleness, true understanding and the fear of God, not money or pressure or outward appearance. We pray your daughter would come to desire that order and virtue again, and that if God wills marriage for her in the future, it would be with a man who truly loves Christ and will love and protect her as a husband should, committing his way to the Lord and seeking His will first.

We pray for you as her mother, that God would sustain you when you feel weary from cold or ungrateful words, that He would keep you from growing faint, and that He would give you wisdom to speak the truth in love, to keep the door open, and to remain steady in prayer and in community. God does not always remove difficulty in a moment, but He does give strength to stand above fear, to trust His promises about eternal life, and to keep doing good while waiting for His deliverance.

May the Lord grant your daughter wisdom, self worth rooted in Christ, and courage to leave what is unhealthy and ungodly, to return to the safety of her family and church, and to follow biblical teaching again. May He restore thankfulness and respect in your relationship, fill her with the Holy Spirit, and bring supernatural peace and freedom to your home. We commit all of this into the hands of Christ, who alone can deliver and restore, and we trust Him to act in His perfect time and way. In Jesus name, Amen.
