We have been lifting up your older daughter before the Lord asking that He would release her swiftly and completely from this very toxic relationship with this young man with no regrets and that He would restore her respectful beautiful humble grateful kind and gracious personality she was brought up with. We have prayed that the Lord would open her eyes to see clearly the red flags and the strain this relationship has caused her and your family and that she would no longer imitate hostile arrogant and authoritative behaviors or tolerate being treated that way herself and that she would no longer honor this young man and his mother above her parents and family or obey their ungodly and selfish guidance.
We continue to stand with you against the plots plans and schemes that have brought exhaustion division isolation and spiritual attack upon your daughter and your family and against the financial hardship and control and exploitation of her finances you described. We have asked God to show her that she belongs to Him and not to this young man that living together outside of marriage is not marriage and not His will for her life and not a home and that she is being used and not loved. We have prayed for conviction upon this young man and his mother for their overstepping disrespectful controlling and enabling ways and that the Lord would remove their stubborn ungodly hold upon her and have this young man return home alone under his fathers authority and stop placing undue responsibilities upon your daughter.
We have also prayed for your daughters work and for the conference you mentioned asking that the Lord would protect her from distraction and disrespectful influence help her prioritize her God given work and restore her gratefulness grace and thankfulness for the job He has blessed her with. We have asked the Lord to block the ungodly selfish disrespectful and jealous advice and lifestyle that has led her down a dark path and to guide her back to the biblical teachings she was raised to follow to honor her parents again and to be thankful for the family God has blessed her with.
We take comfort in the promise of John 8:36 that if the Son sets you free you will be free indeed and in Gal 5:1 that it is for freedom that Christ has set us free. We cling also to James 4:7 that when we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil he will flee from us and to Psalm 91:1 that He is our shelter and protection.
