We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for freedom, protection and restoration for your older daughter.
We have been lifting up your precious daughter before the Lord and asking Him to swiftly remove the overreach and ungodly influence of this young man and his mother, who has no biblical authority to speak into her life. We have prayed that the Lord would expose every motive rooted in pride, jealousy, selfishness and manipulation, and that He would frustrate every plan to divide, isolate and control her. We have asked God to break the stronghold that has held her for so long, to open her eyes to see this living arrangement is not marriage and this young man is not a husband, provider or spiritual shepherd, but a stumbling block, and to give her wisdom to protect her finances and to no longer carry responsibilities that are not hers to bear.
We continue to pray that the Holy Spirit will rescue her from darkness and bring her into His light, that He will restore her self worth as a child of the Most High God, soften her heart to receive His conviction, and grant her courage to walk away from this toxic and controlling bondage swiftly with no regrets. We have pleaded the blood of Jesus over you and your children and claimed Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and we pray that the Lord will restore peace, unity, respect and fellowship within your family, reignite her hunger for righteousness, and draw her back to the safety of her supportive family and church community. We also join you in thanking God for the promotion He blessed her with and we ask Him to guard her work and purpose from any interference.
