Freedom from drug addiction

Please keep praying for my friend to be freed from drug addiction. This is an urgent request. I've posted about him before, and I'm completely determined. I know what God can do, and so I will not give up. Please pray for my friend's salvation, that he will be a mighty man of God someday, and that God will show everyone His glory in how this young man is freed.

Also, please lift up his mother, for her to have a deep relationship with Christ, for her to grow in the knowledge and grace of God, for strength during this difficult time, for her to be wise and discerning about what steps she needs to take, and for God to help her find a church to go to.

And I want to add prayers for my friend's drug dealers. Please pray for their salvation, that they will come to a saving knowledge of Christ, and instead of selling drugs, they will give the knowledge of Christ and His salvation to others as a free gift. Who knows, maybe one of them will eventually lead my friend to Christ...

And lastly, prayers for me to know if I should step in. I've been feeling like I need to, but I don't know if that's because I just want this done right away or what. When I've felt the need to reach out in the past, I have been able to do nothing. So, if God wants me to do something, for Him to let me know what that is and that He will make a way.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
