Your prayer for your daughter has been heard and we join you in bringing her before the Lord with love and urgency. We understand the weight you carry as you watch her caught in a relationship that has brought deception, financial harm, and spiritual confusion, and we stand with you to ask God for her freedom and restoration.

Scripture teaches that our relationship with God must come first. When that relationship is right, our relationships with others begin to come into balance, and when it is broken, other relationships become disordered. We pray first that the Lord would draw your daughter back to Himself, not into a distant or ritual observance, but into a close and loving relationship where she knows Him as Father. Through faith in Jesus Christ alone she is adopted into the family of God, and He invites her to know Him intimately as her Father. We ask that He would restore her first love for Him, that hunger for His Word, for fellowship, and for walking in His ways, and replace stubbornness with a hunger for righteousness.

We pray that God would open her eyes to the truth about this relationship and break every chain that binds her. The burden she has taken up for this young man is not hers to bear, and we ask the Lord to lift every false sense of obligation from her heart. We agree with you that living together outside of marriage is outside of God's will, for He designed sexual intimacy and shared life to belong within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. We pray that she would no longer defend what is harmful or desire what God has not joined together, and that she would clearly see the financial, spiritual, and emotional harm this bond is causing. As God once called Jacob to return to the land of his fathers and to his family with the promise, I will be with you, we pray that your daughter would hear that same call to return to the safety of God's will, to the support of her family, and to the fellowship of her church, where God has promised His presence and protection.

We have seen in Scripture how living closely within a corrupt or ungodly influence can wear down morals and cost a family dearly, and how relationships built outside God's design quickly breed jealousy, rivalry, and strife. We pray that your daughter would no longer seek the approval of this young man and his family or conform to their ways, and that she would not be swayed by selfish and ungodly counsel that oversteps proper bounds. God places great honor on the relationship between parents and children, and we pray that He would restore in her a thankful heart that honors Him and honors you as her parents. We ask that the Lord would expose any motive of disrespect, jealousy, or control that seeks to divide your family, and that He would frustrate every plan meant to bring chaos, isolation, and division, especially as the holidays and times of fellowship approach. We ask Him to block those schemes and keep your home united.

We join you in praying for godly spouses for your daughters, men who will love as Christ loves the church, who will lead in righteousness and honor the covenant of marriage as God intended. We pray that your home would be a beacon of His light, drawing others to the love and grace found only in Jesus. We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over you and your children and declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper. The Lord fights for you, and every plan of the enemy to divide, isolate, or destroy your family will fail. May the Lord gently but firmly lead your daughter out of this bondage, restore what has been broken, and bring her back to wholeness in Christ. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.
