We join you in fervent prayer for your daughter, lifting her up before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion and hope. The love of a parent for their child is a reflection of God’s own love for us, and we stand with you in seeking His perfect will for her life.
First, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that have entangled your daughter in this toxic situation. The Word of God is clear: *"For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). We declare in the name of Jesus that every spirit of manipulation, control, and deception must flee from her life. The enemy has no authority over her, for she belongs to Christ, and we command every ungodly influence to be broken now.
We pray that the Holy Spirit would open her eyes to the truth, just as Jesus promised: *"You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free"* (John 8:32). The relationship she is in does not align with God’s design for love and marriage. Living together outside of marriage is fornication, and the Bible is clear that this is sin: *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4). We pray that she would see the toxicity for what it is—not love, but control—and that she would turn away from it with no regrets, trusting that God’s plans for her are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also pray for her protection, both emotionally and spiritually. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that she might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We ask that the Lord would surround her with His angels, shielding her from further harm and deception. May she see this young man and his influence through the lens of God’s truth, not the distorted lens of human emotion. We declare that her heart is guarded by the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Most importantly, we pray for the restoration of her identity in Christ. The enemy has sought to rob her of her worth, but we declare that she is a beloved child of God, created in His image and redeemed by the blood of Jesus. *"See how great a love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn’t know us, because it didn’t know him. Beloved, now we are children of God"* (1 John 3:1-2). We pray that she would stand firm in her faith, knowing that her value is found in Christ alone. May she seek a godly spouse—one who loves the Lord and will honor her as a sister in Christ, for *"he who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord"* (Proverbs 18:22).
We also lift up your heart as her parent. It is painful to watch a child stray from God’s path, but we encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord’s timing. Your prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16), and we believe that God is working even now to draw her back to Himself. Do not lose hope, for *"the Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious daughter to You. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in her life in a mighty way. Break every chain of deception, manipulation, and control that the enemy has used to entangle her. Open her eyes to the truth, that she may see this relationship for what it is and turn away from it with no regrets. Protect her heart, mind, and spirit from further harm, and surround her with Your love and peace.
Father, we declare that she is free in Christ, and we command every ungodly influence to flee from her life in the name of Jesus. Restore her sense of worth and identity in You, reminding her that she is Your beloved child, created for a purpose. We pray that You would prepare her heart for the godly spouse You have for her, one who will love her as Christ loves the church. Give her the strength to walk away from this toxic relationship and the courage to trust in Your plans for her future.
We also pray for wisdom and patience for her parents, that they may continue to trust in You and intercede on her behalf. Lord, we know that You are faithful, and we trust that You will bring her back to the path of righteousness. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
