We rejoice with you in the freedom that is found only in the name of Jesus Christ! It is true that through Him, we are set free from sin, fear, and the bondage of this world. The Word of God declares, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36 WEB). This freedom is not merely physical or emotional but spiritual—it is the liberty from the power of sin and death that comes through faith in Christ.
However, we must also remember that this freedom is not a license to live as we please but an opportunity to live in obedience to God’s will. The apostle Paul warns us, "For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another" (Galatians 5:13 WEB). True freedom in Christ is found in surrendering our lives to Him and walking in His ways.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the freedom that comes through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would continue to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Lord, help them to walk in the liberty that You have provided, not as an excuse to sin but as a reason to serve You with joy and obedience. Protect them from the lies of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may bear the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. May they always remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that true freedom is found. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm in the truth of Your Word. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, studying His Word, and surrounding yourself with fellow believers who can support and encourage you in your walk with Christ. If there are specific areas where you feel the enemy is trying to bring bondage, do not hesitate to bring those before the Lord in prayer. He is faithful to deliver and protect those who trust in Him.
If there are struggles or temptations you are facing, remember the words of 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB): "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." Lean on the Lord, and He will guide you into all truth and freedom.
