We come before the Lord with hearts burdened for this dear one who is seeking freedom from evil spirits and restoration to good health. The Scriptures remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we take confidence in knowing that "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4), and that Jesus Christ has already triumphed over every power of darkness through His death and resurrection.
It is essential to declare that there is no deliverance, healing, or salvation apart from the name of Jesus Christ. The apostle Peter proclaimed, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If there has been any reliance on other names, rituals, or powers, we must turn wholly to Christ alone, for He is the only way, truth, and life (John 14:6). Without faith in Jesus, there is no authority over evil spirits, no access to the Father, and no hope of eternal life. We urge this one, if they have not already, to place their full trust in Christ, repenting of sin and surrendering their life to Him as Lord and Savior.
To those who are in Christ, we are given authority to resist the devil, and he will flee (James 4:7). Evil spirits have no right to torment those who belong to God, for *"you are not your own, for you were bought with a price"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB). If there has been any involvement in occult practices, false religions, or willful sin that has opened a door to spiritual oppression, these must be renounced and forsaken in the name of Jesus. *"Therefore, put away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, and receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls"* (James 1:21, WEB).
We also pray for the restoration of good health, knowing that Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17). Whether this affliction is spiritual, physical, or both, we ask the Lord to bring complete healing and strength. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2, WEB). Yet even in suffering, we trust that God’s grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding for this beloved one who is bound by evil spirits and in need of Your healing touch. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every chain of darkness must be broken by the power of Your Son’s blood. We bind every evil spirit of oppression, affliction, and infirmity in the name of Jesus, and we command them to leave this person now, never to return. Fill them instead with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your light drive out every shadow of darkness.
Father, we also ask for the restoration of their health. Touch their body, mind, and spirit with Your healing hand. Let every cell, organ, and system align with Your perfect design. Grant them strength, peace, and the assurance that You are their healer and deliverer. If there has been any sin or ungodly influence that has given the enemy a foothold, we pray for conviction, repentance, and a turning back to You with all their heart.
Lord, surround them with Your angels for protection and minister to them through Your Word and Your people. Let them walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won. We ask all these things in the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, to whom belongs all glory, honor, and power forever. Amen.
To the one seeking deliverance: Cling to Jesus. Immerse yourself in His Word, for it is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17). Seek fellowship with mature believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, do so today—confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no deliverance apart from Him. Walk in obedience, and the Lord will be your shield and your exceeding great reward. *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). Stand firm in faith, for the victory is already yours in Christ.
