Beloved of All
I need prayers please to overcome what I call “looking back” syndrome. I fled a toxic abusive work environment where the crowd (multiple managers, supervisors, and colleagues) worked relentlessly to harass, isolate, degrade, sabotage, and other outrageous behavior). I had no other choice but to leave for the sake of my well-being and integrity. No one was willing to say “This is wrong.” Father, I still have flashbacks and nightmares about the situation after 20 years of loyal service. I feel so unworthy and distrustful of people now. I’m still unemployed and the funds are low, but I’m not desperate to return to “Egypt” or “Sodom and Gomorrah.” Father, I need your help in Jesus' name to keep my mind on the things ahead and not behind, including my job search. I need your strength especially on the days that I feel like I can’t take another step. It’s difficult to find an earthly attorney to represent me for a harassment/compensation for lost wages case. You, Dear Father, are the ultimate defense attorney. I commit my life and struggles into your capable hands in Jesus' name.

We hear your cry, dear brother, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens to the throne of grace where our Heavenly Father waits to heal, restore, and lead you forward. Your reference to "Egypt" and "Sodom and Gomorrah" is not lost on us—it speaks volumes of the oppression and wickedness you endured. Just as God delivered the Israelites from bondage and destroyed the sin of those cities, He sees your suffering and will not leave you in this place of torment. The Lord is your refuge, your strong tower, and your ultimate defense attorney, as you rightly declared.

The pain of betrayal and injustice runs deep, especially after two decades of loyalty met with cruelty. But we rebuke the lies of the enemy that whisper you are unworthy or that no one can be trusted. The Word declares, *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Your worth is not defined by the actions of wicked men but by the blood of Christ, who paid the ultimate price for you. The trauma you carry is real, but it does not have the final say. *"Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 3:13-14 WEB). This is your portion, too—forward motion, not backward glances.

We also lift up your job search and financial needs. The enemy would love to keep you in a place of scarcity and fear, but God is Jehovah Jireh, your Provider. *"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19 WEB). Do not despise small beginnings or temporary setbacks. Trust that the Lord is preparing a place for you—a workplace where integrity is honored, where your gifts are valued, and where you will not be subjected to the schemes of the wicked. Until then, lean on Him. *"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint"* (Isaiah 40:31 WEB).

As for seeking earthly justice, we understand the frustration of finding no advocate. But remember, the Lord is your vindicator. *"Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord"* (Romans 12:19 WEB). He sees every injustice, every lost wage, every sleepless night. He will repay. In the meantime, we pray that He would open doors for wise counsel and that you would find peace in His sovereignty.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, who has endured great suffering and injustice. Lord, You see the scars on his heart and the weight he carries from years of abuse and betrayal. We ask that You would heal his mind and spirit, breaking the power of flashbacks and nightmares. Replace lies with Your truth—let him know he is fearfully and wonderfully made, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and deeply loved by You. Father, we declare that the enemy’s hold over his thoughts is broken in the name of Jesus. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we lift up his job search and financial needs. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide opportunities that align with his skills and Your purpose for his life. Give him favor with potential employers and the wisdom to discern which paths to take. Sustain him in this season, Father, and remind him that You are his Provider. Let him not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, he will reap a harvest if he does not give up.

Father, we also pray for justice. You are the righteous Judge, and we trust that You will repay every wrong done to him. Give him patience and faith to wait on Your timing, knowing that vengeance belongs to You. Surround him with godly community—believers who will encourage him, pray for him, and walk alongside him. Restore his ability to trust, Lord, not in man, but in You alone.

We thank You for Your faithfulness, for You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. Strengthen our brother with Your might, and let him feel Your presence in tangible ways. May he fix his eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of his faith, and may he run this race with endurance, looking forward to the prize that awaits him in You.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Continue to stand on God’s promises, dear brother. The road ahead is not without challenges, but it is filled with hope because Christ has overcome the world. You are not alone—we are with you in prayer, and more importantly, the Holy Spirit is your Comforter and Guide. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and do not look back. The best is yet to come.

We're right there with you, brother. We know it's tough to keep moving forward when the past keeps pulling you back, but remember, God has a plan and a purpose for you. It's like Moses looking back at Egypt - you can't go back, only forward. Trust that God is working things out for your good, even in the job search and financial struggles. Let's claim this promise together: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). Keep your eyes on Jesus, and let's walk this path together, one step at a time.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. Your courage in walking away from such a toxic environment and your determination to keep moving forward, not backward, has truly touched our hearts. We have lifted you up before the Lord, asking Him to heal the deep wounds left by those painful experiences and to quiet the flashbacks and nightmares that still haunt you.

We’ve prayed for God’s strength to sustain you on the days when the weight feels too heavy to carry, and for His peace to guard your heart and mind as you press forward. We’ve asked Him to open doors in your job search that no one can shut, and to provide for your needs in ways that only He can. Father, we’ve also prayed that You would be your ultimate Defense Attorney, fighting for justice on your behalf and restoring what was lost.

If the Lord has answered any of these prayers in ways you’ve seen or felt, we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the battle still feels ongoing, please know we are here to continue standing with you in prayer. You don’t have to carry this alone—we’re committed to lifting you up until you see God’s victory in every area.

May He continue to draw near to you, renew your strength, and fill you with hope as you fix your eyes on Him. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus.
