Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.

Please also pray that he can hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life

Please pray that, in the name of Jesus, the landlord recognises his true identity in Christ, and that his eyes are opened to the false identity that man adopts when he strays from God's narrow path and follows his own desires.

We join you in lifting up this former landlord before the throne of grace and we agree with you in Jesus name for his salvation and transformation.

We are encouraged by your heart to pray according to the truth of Luke 9:24, For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. This is the very heart of the gospel, that surrender to Jesus is not loss but eternal gain. We also cling to the promise in 2 Peter 3:9 that the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, and in 1 Timothy 2:4 who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.

We pray together for him now.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we bring this former landlord before You. We ask that You draw him by Your Holy Spirit to lose his life for Jesus sake so that he may truly save it. Open his heart to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and confess Him as Lord, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Let him hear Your voice clearly concerning Your holy plan for his life, for Jesus said in John 10:27, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. Remove any deafness and hardness of heart and let him follow You on the narrow path that leads to life.

We pray that You reign over every darkness and that Your light expels all darkness, for John 1:5 says The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it, and Colossians 1:13 says who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love. We declare victory in Jesus name over this rented apartment situation and ask for Your healing power to guide him, for Your mercy and grace to surround him, and for Your greatness and power to be revealed to him so that no stronghold can withstand You.

We pray that his eyes will be opened as You prayed in Ephesians 1:18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. Let him recognize his true identity in Christ and turn from the false identity that comes when a man strays from Your narrow path and follows his own desires. Make him a new creation, for 2 Corinthians 5:17 says Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. Let him see that his worth and purpose are found only in being Your child through Jesus.

We thank You for Your love and faithfulness that never fails. We trust that there is salvation in no one else, for Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, and that name is Jesus. We ask that You continue to work in his life until he surrenders fully to Your Son and walks in the fullness of Your plan.

We stand with you in faith believing that God is at work even now, and we encourage you to continue to pray and to be a light to him, showing the love of Christ and speaking the truth of the gospel with grace. Amen.

We were encouraged to read your prayer for your former landlord and the burden you carry for him to know Jesus and find his true life in Him.

It is a beautiful thing to want someone else to hear God's voice and discover who he is meant to be in Christ rather than the false identities we all can take on when we follow our own desires. Coming to that place is often a process, and God is patient as He draws a person toward Himself. Your faithful, quiet prayers are part of that work, even when you don't see the results right away.

One simple way to keep carrying this is to continue lifting him by name before the Lord in a steady, unhurried way. If God in His kindness opens a natural door for a kind word or gesture toward him, you can walk through it without pressure, trusting the Lord with what only He can do in a heart.

We join you in praying for him now.

Father, we lift this landlord to You and ask for Your mercy on his life. Draw him to Yourself through Jesus, open his eyes to know You and to hear You, and lead him into the identity and purpose You have for him. Give our friend peace as he entrusts this man to Your care and help him to keep loving him well. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in prayer before the throne of grace for this former landlord, and we plead the promise of our Lord Jesus in Luke 9:24, that whoever loses his life for His sake shall save it.

We pray that the Lord in mercy would show this man that salvation must be God's salvation from beginning to end, not of man's working but of God's providing. Wherever eyes spiritually light upon Christ, there they see God's Salvation, for Christ Himself is God's Salvation. May this man's eyes be opened to see Jesus as He is offered in the gospel, and may he wholly and entirely trust himself into the hands of Christ, for that is to see God's Salvation and to receive a real pardon through a real atonement. The blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, cleanses from all sin, and that blood speaketh better things than revenge, it crieth Mercy, mercy, mercy, Father forgive them. May that sweet soft voice be heard in his conscience, calling him to repentance and faith.

We pray also that he may hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Take heed how he hears, that he may hear the gospel as God's voice speaking with freshness and force, not as the word of man but as the Word of God. We have known many who were placed where they could hear God's voice in the preaching of the gospel, yet would not hear. We pray the Lord would open the gates of hearing to this man, that while he hears, the joy of the Lord may come to him and he may be saved, and find that Christ is his, pardon is his, and heaven is his.

And we pray that in the name of Jesus he may come to know his true identity in Christ, and no longer the false identity that man adopts when he strays from God's narrow path and follows his own desires. There is not a good thing anywhere out of Christ, for that which would be good with Christ becomes a thing which destroys without Him. But in Christ there is justification, there is cleansing, there is new life. May he lose his life as he has known it, his own way and his own desires, and find his life hid with Christ, saved and kept by Him who will carry on the good work He begins until the day of Christ.

We ask this not by our power but by the mighty power of the Lord Jesus who reigns over darkness and whose light expels all darkness. May the Lord show him mercy and grace, and may all who see this work give glory to God alone. In the name of Jesus Christ, our only Saviour, we pray. Amen.

We pray together with you from Luke 9:24, that whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Jesus will save it. We ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone salvation comes, to work in this man's heart by His grace. May the Lord grant him humility to no longer trust in himself, but to willingly surrender his life to Christ, so that he may truly save it and not lose it.

We pray that the Lord in His mercy will open his eyes and his ears. May he hear the voice of God and come to know His holy plan for his life. May he be delivered from darkness by the light of Christ, and may he come to recognize his true identity in Christ as one made and redeemed by Him. We ask that any false identity that comes from straying from the narrow path and following his own desires would be revealed for what it is, and that he would turn to the truth that is in Jesus.

We also pray for you concerning the rented apartment situation that has weighed on you. May the Lord grant you peace, healing, and confidence in His power and faithfulness, knowing that He reigns over all and is able to keep and comfort those who trust in Him.

We commit this landlord to the grace of God, asking that the Lord would draw him to salvation and make him a partaker of life in Christ. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who with the Father and the Holy Spirit is to be glorified forever. Amen.
