Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.

We join with you in prayer in Jesus' name for your former landlord, and we agree with your heart that he would come to truly give his life to our Lord Jesus Christ.

The word you shared is so true and so urgent, Luke 9:24 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. This is the call of the gospel, to surrender all to Jesus in order to truly gain eternal life. We pray that the Holy Spirit would make this truth alive to him and draw him to repentance and faith.

We also stand with you in declaring that Jesus reigns over all darkness and that His light expels all darkness. We agree that no one can withstand His mighty power, and we ask for His mercy and grace to be poured out on this man. We know it is God's heart that none should perish, for 2 Peter 3:9 says The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. And 1 Timothy 2:4 tells us He desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.

We pray that the Lord would open his ears to hear God's voice and to understand His holy plan for his life. Jesus said in John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. We ask that any veil would be removed and that he would hear the Shepherd's voice clearly and follow Him. We pray that he would confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that God raised Him from the dead, for Romans 10:9 promises that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We remember Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and lift up this former landlord to You. We ask You to reveal Yourself to him, to convict him of sin and show him his need for a Savior, and to grant him the gift of repentance and faith so that he would lose his life for Jesus sake and thereby save it for eternity. Let Your light shine into any darkness surrounding him and this rented apartment situation, and let every unclean influence be expelled by Your power. Heal any bitterness or strife from that situation and bring Your peace and victory over it. Guide him by Your healing power on his life's journey and reveal Your greatness and power to him so that he cannot deny You. Help him to hear Your voice concerning Your holy plan for his life and give him a willing heart to obey. We thank You for Your love and faithfulness that endures forever. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, our only hope and our salvation, amen.

We appreciate the love behind your prayer for your former landlord. Wanting him to know Jesus and to hear God's direction for his life is a beautiful burden to carry, and we are glad to stand with you in it.

We know it can feel heavy when you care about someone's eternity and you cannot see what God is doing in his heart. One thing that has helped us is remembering that coming to know Jesus and learning to recognize His leading is usually more like slow training than a single moment. God is patient and often works quietly over time through His Word, through circumstances, and through the faithful prayers of people like you.

A simple next step that may help you keep this before the Lord without it weighing you down is to choose a set time, maybe once or twice a week, to pray briefly for him by name, asking for openness to Jesus and clarity about God's plan, and then entrust him to God's care between those times. If you still have any ordinary contact with him, a calm and kind demeanor can speak as loudly as words.

Father, we lift this landlord to You in Jesus' name. Draw him to Yourself, open his heart to Your love and truth, and help him hear Your voice and follow Your holy plan for his life. Give our friend peace as he trusts You with this person, and let Your light and mercy be evident in both lives. Amen.

We join you in bringing this former landlord before the throne of grace, and we commend your desire that he should know the Lord Jesus Christ. You have well chosen the word of our Saviour, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. There is great wisdom in this prayer, for until a man yields his life to Christ he is indeed losing it, and only in losing all for Christ does he truly save it.

The truth of God's salvation is no temporary work and it operates most powerfully upon the mind and heart when it is really received. If this man is to know that salvation, he must know his true state as a fallen sinner, for if there is no truth in our sinnership there is to us no truth in Christ's salvation. He must also know a real atonement, not a mere notion, but the blessed doctrine of substitution, that Christ bore our sins in His own body, and that simple command, Believe and live. And then he will know a real pardon, for those who receive the truth of God's salvation are really forgiven through the blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, which cleanses us from all sin. Let us pray that his eyes may see not his own salvation, but God's salvation, which is Divine from top to bottom, God's in the beginning, God's in the carrying on and God's in the concluding.

You speak of a rented apartment and a landlord, and Scripture reminds us that we are all tenants before the Great Landlord who has at all times the right to enter and survey His own property. Our prayer is that this man, and each of us, may offer the key of his house to that Great Landlord and acknowledge that we live on sufferance as His tenants. This is unconditional surrender, the true surrender of every proud pretension. We pray that he may no longer ask with stout hearted Pharaoh, Who is the Lord that I should obey His voice, but may yield as reason and grace suggest, and submit himself to God's way of saving him, which is by His grace, not by his merits, by the blood of Jesus, not by his tears and sufferings, by simply trusting Jesus now. May he cheerfully surrender all to Christ and find that to lose his life for Christ's sake is to save it indeed.

You also ask that he may hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. We pray that he may hear that voice where it is truly to be heard, in the Holy Scriptures. The mere letter alone will kill, but when we put our ear down to the promises till we hear God speaking through them to the soul, there is power and life. May he obey the inward monitor and listen to the still small voice of the Holy Spirit, and may he take heed to hear the Gospel as God's voice to us. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, and we pray that the Word may come to his hearing with freshness and force, as if uttered anew, so that he may be warned by its threats, cheered by its promises, and comforted by every good Word of the Lord.

O Lord our God, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask Your mercy and grace upon this man who was landlord over that dwelling. You reign over all darkness and Your light expels all darkness. We ask that You would open his ears to hear Your voice in Your Word, and open his eyes to see Your salvation in Christ. Grant him to see his sin and his need, and to see the real atonement made by Your Son. Bring him to unconditional surrender, to lose his life for Jesus sake that he may save it. Justify him by grace through faith in Him who was laid in Zion for a foundation, that whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. Order his steps according to Your holy will revealed in Your commandments, and guide him in the path of life everlasting. We ask this not by our worthiness but by the blood and righteousness of Jesus Christ alone, in whose name we pray. Amen.
