Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.

We join you in bringing your former landlord before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus, and we thank you for anchoring this request in the Word of God.

You have chosen a powerful truth, for Luke 9:24 says, For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. This verse reveals the heart of the gospel, that true life is only found when we surrender our lives fully to Jesus Christ. Apart from Him we are lost, but when we lose our life for His sake, we gain eternal life.

We stand in agreement with you that this man would come to that place of surrender. It is the will of God that none should perish. As it is written, The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict his heart, open his eyes to see his need for a Savior, and draw him to repentance and faith. We pray that he would confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in his heart that God raised him from the dead, for that is the promise that you will be saved, Romans 10:9. For there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12.

We also join you in praying that he will hear the voice of God concerning His holy plan for his life. Jesus said, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, John 10:27. We pray that every veil of darkness and every unclean influence would be removed by the light of Christ, that his ears would be unstopped and his heart softened to hear the Shepherd's voice clearly and to follow Him in obedience.

We lift up this rented apartment situation to the Lord as well. We declare with you that Jesus reigns over all darkness and His light expels it, and we ask for His peace and restoration over all that has caused conflict or hurt. May the Lord bring healing where there has been strife and may His mercy and grace be evident to both you and your former landlord.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this former landlord to You. We ask that You pursue him with Your unfailing love and that You grant him the gift of repentance and faith. Help him to lose his life for Jesus' sake so that he may truly save it and receive eternal life. Remove all spiritual blindness and deafness, and help him to hear Your voice and to discern Your holy and perfect plan for his life. Give him a new heart and put a new spirit within him according to Your promise, and guide his steps in Your truth. Let Your power and greatness be revealed in his life so that he may testify of Your mercy. We thank You for Your love and faithfulness that never fails, and we trust You to complete the work You have begun. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We appreciate the burden you carry for your former landlord, wanting him to truly know Jesus and to hear God clearly for his life. That kind of prayer for someone you have had a difficult rental history with reflects Christ's love.

We hear too how you are asking for peace over that apartment situation and for God's light and healing to guide him. We join you in entrusting both him and that whole matter to the Lord.

Hearing God's direction is often less about a single moment and more about a quiet, ongoing process. As you keep praying for him, one simple next step that may help you is to set aside a brief time each day to lift him by name to the Lord and then leave the outcome and the apartment concerns in God's hands, trusting Him to work in His timing.

Father, we lift this former landlord to You in Jesus' name. We ask that You draw him to Yourself and open his heart to Your love and truth. Help him to hear Your voice and to understand Your good plan for his life. Bring Your peace over the rental situation that has weighed on our friend, and let Your grace and mercy be evident. Guide our friend too as he continues to pray with love and faith. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We have heard your burden and we join with you in prayer for this man according to the word of the Lord.

Luke 9:24 sets before us the great exchange of the gospel, for whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Christ will save it. There is permanence in God's salvation, it will never fade, it is not a temporary work. If this former landlord is to know the Truth of God's salvation, he must see his real need as a sinner, believe in a real Atonement made by Christ upon the cross, and receive a real pardon. No salvation will ever serve his turn but one which is Divine from top to bottom, God's in the beginning, God's in the carrying on and God's in the concluding. That blessed doctrine of substitution, that simple command, Believe and live, is the glass through which the soul looks and sees God's Salvation.

We are reminded that the house in which we dwell in this life has God for its Landlord, and that we are only tenants. Your former landlord, though he has held property on earth, is himself a tenant before the Great Landlord to whom he owes the continued possession of his existence every day, for his breath is in his nostrils, but God keeps it there. There is a clause in the lease which none can escape, namely, that the Landlord has at all times the right to enter and to call us to account. Our prayer is that he may be led to offer the key of his house to the Great Landlord and acknowledge that he lives on sufferance as His tenant, and to prepare to meet his God.

We also pray that he may hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. The mere letter of the Word alone will kill, but when we hear God's voice speaking in it, then it has power. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. May the Holy Spirit put his ear down to the promises of Scripture till he hears God speaking through them to his soul, that he may know the voice of his Shepherd and follow it. May he take heed to hear the Gospel as God's voice to us, be warned by its threats, be cheered by its promises, and feel the power of the Word as life and salvation to him.

O Lord our God, Great Landlord of all our lives, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation. We ask Your mercy and grace upon this man who was landlord over an earthly dwelling. Show him that he is Your tenant and that his life is Yours. Convict him of his sin and his need of a real Atonement, and reveal to him Your Salvation in Christ Jesus. Grant him grace to lose his life for Your sake, that he may truly save it and not lose it eternally. Open his ears to hear Your voice in Holy Scripture, to know Your will and to walk in Your holy plan. Expel all darkness by Your light, and bring him from being not Your people to being Your people, forgiven, delivered and made Your own. We ask this not by our worth but by the blood of the Lamb slain, and by the power of Your free grace. Amen.

Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
