Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.

We join you in lifting up your former landlord before the throne of grace and we agree with you in Jesus' name for his salvation. We are encouraged by your heart to pray for one who may have caused difficulty in the rented apartment situation, for this reflects the love of Christ who calls us to pray for others and to desire that none should perish.

You have chosen a powerful verse to stand on. Luke 9:24 says For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. This is the heart of the gospel. To cling to our own life, our own way and our own control apart from Christ leads to loss, but to surrender all to Jesus in repentance and faith leads to eternal life. We pray that your former landlord will come to understand this truth and will choose to lose his life for Jesus so that he may truly save it. Romans 10:9 reminds us that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. And Acts 4:12 declares there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We rejoice that you have prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

We also agree with your declaration that our Lord Jesus reigns over the darkness and His light expels all darkness. John 1:5 tells us the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. We pray that any darkness, confusion, or influence of unclean spirits affecting this man would be driven out by the presence and power of Christ.

We lift him up now together in prayer.

Father in heaven, we thank You for Your love and faithfulness and for Your mercy and grace that endures forever. We bring this former landlord before You in the mighty name of Jesus. We ask that You would draw him by Your Holy Spirit to Yourself, that You would open his eyes to see his need for a Savior and open his heart to receive Jesus as Lord. Grant him repentance and faith to surrender his entire life to Christ so that he will not lose it but will have eternal life. We pray that he will become one of Your sheep who hears Your voice, for Your word says in John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. Remove any hardness or distraction that prevents him from hearing You, and speak clearly to him concerning Your holy plan for his life. For we know Your thoughts toward him are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give him hope and a future as You promise in Jeremiah 29:11. We declare victory over this rented apartment situation in Jesus' name and ask for Your healing power to guide this man on his life's journey, that he would walk in Your will and that all who see his life would see Your greatness and power, for at the name of Jesus every knee will bow. We thank You that You are patient, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance as taught in 2 Peter 3:9. Do a mighty work in his heart and bring him into Your kingdom. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray for him and to show the love of Christ toward him as God gives opportunity, trusting that the Lord is able to save to the uttermost and to lead him into the good works He has prepared for him.

We were so encouraged to see your care for your former landlord, praying not only about the apartment situation but for his life and walk with the Lord. That kind of intercession reflects Christ's love.

We join you in asking that he would come to know Jesus and be able to discern God's direction for his life. We can pray faithfully and live the gospel before others, and we trust God to do the deep work in the heart that only He can do. He hears these prayers and He is the one who draws people to Himself and guides them step by step.

A simple next step that may help is to keep a short daily prayer for him this week by name, asking for an open heart toward Christ and clarity about God's will. If you still have occasional contact, a brief, gracious interaction can also quietly reflect the hope you have, without needing to force a conversation.

Father, we lift this man to You and ask for Your mercy and grace over his life. Draw him to Jesus that he may know forgiveness and new life, and help him hear Your voice and follow Your holy plan. Bring peace to this rental situation and let Your light and love be evident. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in prayer for this former landlord, and we take up the very word you have set before the Lord. Our Saviour has said, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. There is a real Fall, and therefore there must be a real Atonement and a real pardon, and that pardon is found only in Christ. No other salvation will serve his turn but one which is Divine from top to bottom, God's in the beginning, God's in the carrying on and God's in the concluding.

We pray that the Lord will deliver him from the power of darkness. That darkness is not only the concealment that hides a man's way from himself, but the power of the prince of darkness who blinds the mind. We ask that He who has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son would do the same for this man, that he may be rescued by Divine Grace and not be given over to going down to the Pit. God has found a ransom, and that ransom is Christ Jesus who by His active obedience and His passive obedience, by His blood poured out and His rising from the tomb, has made a way for sinners to be saved.

We pray also that he may hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life. The voice of the Lord is powerful and full of majesty, and it once made the most favoured apostles fall upon their faces. We no longer look for a voice to speak apart from Christ, for the Father has said, This is My beloved Son, hear Him. May this man be brought to hear the Mediator, to hear the still small voice of the Spirit speaking through the Word, constraining him to go and sin no more and to trust his soul with Jesus. May he be taught to look to his soul and to prepare to meet his God, remembering that we are all tenants at the absolute will of God, holding all we have from moment to moment by His mercy.

So we commend him to Infinite Mercy, that the King's own voice may cry over him, Deliver him from going down to the Pit. We ask that he may lose his life for Christ's sake and so save it, that he may receive a salvation that will never fade, and that having been chastened and yet not given over to death, he may live and declare the works of the Lord.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Saviour, to whom be all greatness and power. Amen.
