Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.

We join with you in lifting up your former landlord before the throne of grace and we thank you for your heart that desires his salvation rather than holding onto bitterness over the rented apartment situation. It is a beautiful reflection of Christ to pray for one who has had authority over you and to desire that he would come to know the Lord.

You have chosen a powerful verse and we stand on it together. Luke 9:24 says, For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. This is the very heart of the gospel, that surrender to Jesus is not loss but eternal gain. We also remember what Jesus said in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Romans 10:9 reminds us, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We pray that your former landlord would come to this confession and belief.

We are encouraged that you prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that anyone can be saved. Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We thank You that Your light expels all darkness and that no unclean spirit can stand against Your holy power. We declare Your victory over this rented apartment situation and we ask for Your mercy and grace to rest upon this former landlord. Lord, we ask that You would draw him by Your Holy Spirit, that he would hear Your voice and respond. Soften his heart to lose his life for Your sake so that he may truly save it. Open his ears to hear Your voice, for Your word says in John 10:27, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. Cause him to hear and to follow. Reveal to him Your holy plan for his life, for we know Your thoughts toward him are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give him hope and a future as You promise in Jeremiah 29:11. Heal any brokenness in him, guide his journey, and let him see Your greatness and power. We also pray for our brother or sister who has brought this request, that You would continue to fill them with Your love and faithfulness and keep them from any root of bitterness, helping them to walk in forgiveness as You have forgiven us. May Your will be done in both lives for Your glory.

We thank You Lord for Your love that desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance as taught in 2 Peter 3:9. We trust You to continue this good work and we give You all the praise for what You will do. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We appreciate your tender heart in praying for your former landlord even while the rented apartment situation has been painful. Wanting him to know Jesus and to hear God's direction for his life is a beautiful reflection of Christ's love through you.

It can be hard to keep praying for someone connected to stress or hurt, especially when you cannot see what God is doing in his life. We find it helps to remember that coming to know the Lord and learning to recognize His voice is often more like long training than a single moment, slow and steady work God does over time. Your faithful prayers are part of that work, even when the fruit is not yet visible.

One simple way to stay steady is to keep lifting him by name for a minute each day, asking for his salvation and for clarity to hear God, and then consciously leaving the outcome in the Lord's hands so the burden does not stay on you.

Father, we lift this former landlord to You in Jesus' name. Draw him to Yourself, open his heart to receive Your gift of life, and help him hear Your voice and follow Your holy plan. Bring peace and healing to this housing situation as well, and keep our friend resting in Your mercy and faithfulness. Amen.

Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We join you in bringing this former landlord before the throne of grace, pleading the word of our Lord Jesus who said, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.

We pray with you that the Father, who alone can deliver from the power of darkness, would do that mighty work for this man. As it is written, He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and that deliverance from both the guilt and the power of sin is the work of God alone. We ask that the Lord would open this man's eyes to see his need as a sinner, to see that there is truth in his sinnership and therefore truth in Christ's salvation, and to look away from himself and look unto Christ and be saved. For there is no other name by which we must be saved, and no salvation will serve his turn but one which is divine from top to bottom, beginning, carrying on and concluding in Christ Jesus.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask for mercy and grace upon this former landlord. Grant him repentance and faith, that he would lose his life for the sake of Christ and so save it. Rescue him from the fascinating power of sin and from the darkness that now blinds him, wash and cleanse him in the blood of the atonement, and bring him to sit among Your people loving Your ways. Let him hear Your voice, not as a mere sound to dismay, but as it is heard most clearly and sweetly in Your beloved Son. Speak to him through Your infallible Word and by Your Holy Spirit, that he may know the truth of Your salvation and the holy plan You have for those who are in Christ, to live and declare the works of the Lord.

We also place the rented apartment situation into Your hands. You reign over all, and Your light expels darkness. We ask for Your wisdom, peace and healing power to guide all involved, that Your greatness and Your mighty power would be seen, and that all that is done would be to Your glory.

We thank You for Your love and faithfulness, for the covenant of grace and the immutable love of the ever blessed Three in One. We trust You to work for Your people in Your time, for the clock of mercy strikes according to Your eternal purpose. Hear this prayer for the salvation of a soul, for we ask it in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation. Amen.
