Former landlord

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the former landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Amen

Please also pray that he can hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life

We join you in praying for your former landlord and we agree with you that Jesus reigns over all darkness and His light expels it.

We are encouraged by your heart for his salvation and your desire to see him give his life fully to Christ. You have chosen a powerful verse to stand on, for Jesus said in Luke 9:24 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. This is the heart of the gospel, to surrender our own way and receive eternal life in Him. We also remember Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, and Romans 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

We also pray as you have asked that he will learn to hear the voice of God and follow His holy plan for his life. Jesus promises in John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. And we know it is the Lord's desire that none should perish, as it says in 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. We hold onto the promise in John 8:12 that Jesus said I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this former landlord to You. Lord, we ask that by Your Holy Spirit You would draw him to Yourself, open his eyes to see his need for a Savior, and soften his heart to receive Your truth. Help him to count his own life as nothing compared to knowing You, that he would lose his life for Your sake and so save it for eternity. Expel all darkness and every unclean influence from his life by Your light, and let no darkness remain where Your presence dwells. We declare victory in this rented apartment situation in Jesus name and ask that You would bring healing, peace and reconciliation where there has been strife. Make Your greatness and power known to him, Lord, that he would know Your mercy and grace personally. Give him ears to hear Your voice, to discern Your holy plan for his life, and give him the courage to follow You in obedience. We pray that he would enter into a living relationship with Jesus and walk as a new creation. We thank You for Your love and faithfulness that endures forever, and we trust You to continue Your good work in his heart. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray for him with love and to let your own life be a witness of the light of Christ, trusting that God is working even when you cannot see it, for Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

We were moved by your desire to see your former landlord come to know Jesus and find real life in Him. It is a beautiful thing to turn a difficult rented apartment situation into prayer for another person's eternal good.

We join you in asking the Lord to work in his heart, to draw him toward truth and to help him hear God's leading for his life. Only God can open a heart, and He hears when we bring people to Him in love rather than resentment. Your willingness to pray for mercy and grace over him reflects Christ's own heart.

One simple step that helps many of us is to keep his name before the Lord privately and regularly, without feeling you must chase a response or keep contact if it is not wise. Entrusting both the person and the past housing situation to God can free you to walk forward in peace, knowing God will deal justly and mercifully as He sees fit.

Father, we lift this landlord to You and ask for Your mercy in his life. Draw him to Jesus, open his ears to Your voice and guide him into Your holy plan. Bring healing where there has been tension and give our friend peace as he trusts You with this. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in bringing this former landlord before the throne of grace according to the word of our Lord in Luke 9:24, For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.

We pray that the Lord will show him the Truth of His salvation, that it is not a temporary work but a permanent and real salvation. May he be brought to see his real fall and his true sinnership, for only those who have really transgressed know their need of a Savior, and may he then be brought to see a real Atonement. There is no truth in salvation apart from the substitution of Christ, who bore our sin that we might live. We pray that he may look through that blessed doctrine and see not his own salvation but Gods Salvation, which is Christ Himself, Divine from top to bottom, in its beginning, its carrying on and its concluding. Grant him a real pardon through the blood of Jesus Christ, Gods dear Son, which cleanses from all sin, and teach him that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

We remember also that God is the great Landlord and we are but tenants in the house of this life. Our breath is in our nostrils only because He keeps it there, and our lease is held on sufferance from His hand, with this clause that the Landlord has at all times the right to enter. We pray that this man may hear Gods voice speaking through the Scripture, not the mere letter which kills, but the living voice which gives power and salvation. May he put his ear down to the promises till he hears God speaking to his soul, take heed how he hears, and with an attentive and earnest hearing receive faith and life. May he obey the still small voice, prepare to meet his God, and offer the key of his house to the Great Landlord, acknowledging Christ as Lord.

We ask this mercy in the name of Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we must be saved, and we pray that the Holy Spirit will guide him into the holy plan revealed in Gods Word, that losing his life for Christs sake he may truly save it. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in bringing this former landlord before the Lord in prayer, and we thank you for standing on the word of God in asking.

The Lord Jesus taught in Luke 9:24 that whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for His sake will save it. As you noted, He shows the great difference between the salvation that comes from holding on to this life and this world, and the true salvation that comes from surrendering our lives to Him. What would it profit a person to gain even the whole world and yet lose his own soul. True life is found only when we give ourselves to Christ.

We pray with you that this man will come to see this truth. We ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in no other name, that He would draw this landlord to Himself. We pray that he would hear the gospel, confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that God raised Him from the dead, and so be saved. That is the short and sure way of salvation which God has provided. We pray that he would turn from trusting in himself and in the things of this world, and lose his life for Christ so that he may truly save it and receive eternal life.

We also pray that the Lord, who reigns over all darkness and whose light drives out darkness, would work in his heart, remove every hindrance, and open his ears to hear the voice of God and to understand His holy plan for his life. Scripture reminds us that now is the acceptable time and now is the day of salvation, so we ask that he would not delay but would respond while the Lord is calling.

We join you in asking for the Lord's mercy and grace over the rented apartment situation as well, that He would bring peace, justice and resolution according to His will, and that through it all His power and goodness would be seen.

We will continue to pray that God in His mercy grants this man repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone, for the salvation of his soul.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord with such faith and care. It is right to pray as you have from Luke 9:24, for Jesus taught that holding tightly to our own life and our own way leads to losing it, but surrendering our life to Him is the way to truly save it. To give his life to Jesus is not to lose anything of true value, but to gain forgiveness, eternal life, and a place in the family of God.

I join you in praying for your former landlord, that God in His mercy would draw him to salvation through Jesus Christ alone. The Scripture promises that the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all people, and that whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. This great salvation is open to anyone who will come, and Jesus will not turn away anyone who comes to Him in faith. He is the author and captain of our salvation, and He made the way through His suffering and death to bring many sons and daughters into glory. There is no other hope, and there is no escape if this salvation is neglected.

I also join you in praying that he will hear the voice of God concerning His holy plan for his life. The voice of the Lord is powerful and full of majesty. Scripture describes it as being over the waters, like thunder, breaking the strong cedars, shaking the wilderness, dividing flames of fire, and causing all in His temple to speak of His glory. That same powerful voice can break a hard heart and awaken a soul. Just as a child before birth learns to know its mother's voice and finds comfort in it after birth, we pray that your former landlord would become tuned to the voice of the Lord and recognize it when He speaks.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. A person cannot believe until they hear the good news of what Christ has done. So we pray that the word of Christ will come to him clearly, whether through Scripture, through the witness of others, or through the quiet work of the Holy Spirit, and that hearing it he would believe and call upon Jesus.

Scripture reminds us that now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. For a long season God patiently holds out His hands and offers mercy, but that season will not last forever. We pray that your former landlord would not put off God's call, but would respond today while the offer stands. The greatest miracle God can do in any life is not the settling of a housing matter or any other earthly need, but the salvation of the soul, and that is what we ask for him above all else.

Let us pray together. Lord Jesus, You reign over all darkness and Your light drives it away. We ask for Your mercy and grace upon this man who was a landlord. We ask that You would open his ears to hear Your voice, powerful and majestic, and open his heart to understand his need for You. Bring the word of Your gospel to him so that faith may rise in his heart. Help him to let go of his own life and surrender it to You, that in losing his life for Your sake he may truly save it. Clothe him with Your garments of salvation and lead him into Your holy plan for his life. We thank You for Your love and faithfulness that never fails. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have been lifting up your former landlord before the Lord just as you requested, praying that he will give his life to our Lord Jesus so that he will not lose it according to Luke 9:24. We continue to agree with you that our Lord Jesus reigns over the darkness and that His light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.

We have also been declaring victory over that rented apartment situation in Jesus Name, and asking for His healing power to guide your former landlord on his lifes journey. We are praying that he will hear Gods voice clearly concerning His holy plan for his life and that he will come to see the Greatness and Power of God, and receive His mercy and grace.

If your request was answered and you have seen God working in his heart or in this situation, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

We pray that the Father will draw your former landlord by His Spirit, open his heart to surrender his life to Jesus, and open his ears to hear His voice and follow His holy plan. We thank Him for His love and faithfulness and we trust that no one can withstand His mighty power. We pray this in Jesus Name. Amen.
