We join with you in bringing this burden of forgiveness and reconciliation before the Father, and we hear your desire to make things right after how you acted toward this friend.
We are encouraged that you recognize your actions and want to seek forgiveness, for God honors a humble and repentant heart. Scripture tells us If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. We also are commanded to extend and seek forgiveness with one another, as it is written Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32 and Forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any, even as Christ forgave you, so you also do Colossians 3:13.
We want to gently point out that your request mentions lord but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and receive forgiveness of sins. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. To be forgiven by God we must come to Him through faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus for the forgiveness of all your sins, and then you can come boldly before God in His name.
We also encourage you not only to wait for a call or text, but to humbly take the biblical step of reaching out if God opens the door. Jesus taught If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift Matthew 5:23-24. A sincere apology that takes responsibility without making excuses, asking for forgiveness rather than demanding it, reflects true repentance. At the same time we pray for your friend's heart to be softened to forgive, remembering that For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses Matthew 6:14-15. We also remember that reconciliation is a two way process and may take time, so we pray for patience and for you to trust God's timing and will, as it says If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men Romans 12:18.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and thank You for Your mercy and grace. We confess our sins before You and ask for Your forgiveness for the ways we have hurt others through our words and actions. We ask that You create in this dear one a clean heart and renew a right spirit within them Psalm 51:10. Lord, we lift up this broken friendship to You. We ask that You work in both hearts, bringing conviction where needed, healing where there is hurt, and a willingness to forgive as You have forgiven us. If it is Your will, we pray You would open the door for communication, whether through a call or a text, and give wisdom and humility for a conversation that honors You and leads to restoration. Help us to seek peace and pursue it, and to trust Your perfect will above our own desires. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Your desire to seek forgiveness is itself a tender mercy, and it is well that you bring it before the Lord, for there is forgiveness with Him.
Scripture says, There is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared, and again, I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake. This is a divine forgiveness, a surprising forgiveness, and a complete forgiveness. If you have offended greatly, there is still forgiveness, and it is to be found only with God through Jesus Christ His Son, who died the Just for the unjust that He might bring us to God. Do you tremble and with a penitent heart desire that forgiveness, then look not first to man but to Christ upon the Cross. True repentance stands at the Cross and sees sin forgiven and then repents more deeply than before, saying, I know they are forgiven, but now their pain to me is all the grief and anguish they laid, my Lord, on Thee.
Take care to weigh your repentance, for there is a carnal repentance that is of the flesh and after the manner of sinful nature, produced by fear or judgment, and there is a true repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God. True repentance gives God glory. It is a repentance unto life, not a passing feeling but a practical repentance that yields works meet for repentance and that lasts. The repentance which ejects sin as an evil tenant and the faith which admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart go together, for faith and repentance are inseparable. The repentance that makes you weep and abhor your past life because of the love of Christ which has pardoned it, and that makes you avoid present sin because of the love of God who died for you, this is saving repentance. Ask yourself before the Lord whom no man can deceive, is this the repentance you now seek.
I pray that the Lord will grant you such a repentance and such faith, that you may look out of self to Christ and to Christ only, and know that He not only forgave at the first all your sins but continues daily to forgive, and that His forgiveness is an eternal forgiveness. And as you have received so much manifest forgiveness, may you also learn the joint work of mutual forgiveness, forgiving one another even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
I will pray for you, that God would search your heart and work in you that holy, healthy, heavenly repentance which needs not to be repented of, that He would wash you in the blood of Christ and give you peace with Himself. I will pray also for the one you have grieved, that the Lord would soften and incline that heart to grace, and if it be His wise and good will, that He would open a door for a humble and honest conversation, whether by call or by text, that you may speak the truth in love, confess your fault plainly, and seek to be reconciled as friends. Yet if that door is not opened at once, remember that though we ought to desire our fellow creature's forgiveness, our chief need is God's forgiveness, and that He brings down the heart with labour in His own time for our good.

Your desire to seek forgiveness and to make things right is itself a work of grace, and it is good that you bring it to the Lord. Scripture says godly sorrow works repentance unto salvation, a repentance that brings no regret. That sorrow is not only feeling sorry that a friendship is broken, but humbly seeing before God how you acted, confessing it without excuse, and turning from it.
True friendship, as the Scriptures teach, is not built on merely spending time together or sharing a table. It is built on virtue and on godliness, when brother helps brother toward what is good and holds one another back from what leads away from God. If the Lord restores this friendship, pray that it would be that kind of friendship, one that endures through every change because it is grounded in love for Christ and desire for what is right.
So we will pray with you, not that God would simply grant what we want in the moment, but that He would do what is most healing and holy for both of you. We pray that you would know the forgiveness that comes through Jesus Christ when we confess our sins to Him, that He would give you a clear and humble heart to own what was wrong and to seek to make amends where you can, and that He would give the other person grace to forgive as Christ has forgiven us. We pray also that you would respect their freedom and their need for time, and entrust the outcome to God, whether that means a restored friendship in due time or peace even if contact does not come right away.
Father in heaven, we thank You that forgiveness is available through Your Son and that You wash away the stains of the soul when we come to You in true repentance. We ask You to forgive this one who confesses, to cleanse and renew the heart, and to teach what it means to repent rightly. Work also in the heart of the friend who was hurt, comfort and guard that heart, and grant the grace to forgive. If it is Your will, open a door for honest and humble conversation, and build between them a friendship that is founded on virtue and godly love and that helps both walk more faithfully with You. Give patience to wait on Your timing and to trust Your wisdom above all. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
