Forgiveness...This Is True Forgiveness

Botham Jean's brother forgives, embraces Amber Guyger

A jury sentenced former Dallas police officer Amber Guyger, who was convicted of murdering her neighbor, Bothem Shem Jean in his own home to ten years in prison.
During the 2018 Martin Luther King Day parade a message sent to Guyger said, “When does this end lol”. She responded, “When MLK is dead… oh wait….”

Prosecutors also showed the jury some of Guyger’s alleged social media posts that promoted police violence against civilians. One banner she posted said, “I wear all black to remind you not to mess with me, because I’m already dressed for your funeral.”

Attorneys representing the Jean family in a civil suit said the new evidence showed Guyger’s true intent.

“We believe that it paints a completely different picture than the crying, tearful, remorseful person who was on the stage,” said lawyer Lee Merritt.

My reply is there could be no other opinion but true forgiveness. My first impression when I listened to the reaction of the defendant was that she was very frightened and remorseful. It was clear that she regretted what had happened. She had taken an innocent life .She had indeed committed a terrible crime. She also said that she was going to lose her job.In my opinion this was a young woman who wanted to make something good of her life.It seems to me that has someone who had done criminology she knew the gravity of the situation in which she had found herself. She appeared to panic and was clearly in a state of shock. This tl me was not premeditated murder.Furthermire on the stand she displayed an attitude of respect and humility. She was very penitent.I was not a le to watch all the videos but I do not see why anyone should bring colour into the situation.Whether he was lack or white she did it as self defence on the spur of the moment..I agree with the elderly woman's opinion.I realize that she was sentence for the crime.I was very disppointed. The gentlemandz6 brother exercised true forgiveness and I admire him. This is an act of true unconditional forgiveness. That is wht Jesus has done for us.We all will need forgiveness from other at some time.We must learn not to be too hard on others. We must exercise compassion for not only our family members.I will complete watching the videos and I will allow others around me to watch and listen. Thanks for having highlighted this case.God bless you.One more thing I am inviting you all to watch this video now.

I watched the trial each day. I have been watching this story since it happen. Her story changed and she was caught in some lies. She didn’t render CPR. Evidence was tampered with. They tried to assonate this young man’s character to protect her. But Only God, Thank You Jesus, Let The Truth Be Known.

But God showed us through this young man, Botham Jean’s brother, what true forgiveness looks like and how to still walk in love. I am praying for Amber Guyger.

How do I forgive someone ruins my life every single day? Should I be friendly to them while they ruin my life and put me in pain?
it's very difficult to be nice to them knowing at this very moment they are destroying me.
I always wanted to know the answer for this?

Fast and pray before the Lord for those lost souls who cause pain, sorrow and anger in your heart. It is satan who is trying to make your life miserable. Ask the Lord to save those who are far away from God. Specially those who love to see you suffer. Say loud their names before God and ask Him to change their life. None of us can do what God can. We cannot cleanse souls of anyone, only Jesus can. Believe, trust and wait for the Lord to answer and expect to see great and wondersul things happening in those lives you are praying for.

Forgive and move on. Forgiveness does not mean relationship. Yor forgive people, but that doesn't mean you have to accept their behavior or trust them. Forgiveness doesn't excuse, condone, or minimize what has happened. I forgive people but that doesn't mean I need them in my life. I forgive because God forgave me. I forgive them for me, so I can let go and move on with my life.
