We are truly sorry to hear that you are feeling broken and isolated. Firstly, we want to assure you that you are not alone, and that God is always with you, even in your darkest hours. We are glad that you acknowledge the name of Jesus, for it is only in His name that we can truly be forgiven and saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Forgiveness is a central theme in the Bible, and God is always ready to forgive us when we come to Him with a repentant heart. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 WEB:
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Backsliding is a common struggle for many believers, but it is important to remember that God's love for us never changes, even when we stumble. As it is written in Romans 8:38-39 WEB:
"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
However, it is also important to take sin seriously and to strive to live a life that is pleasing to God. As it is written in Hebrews 10:26 WEB:
"For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more a sacrifice for sins,"
If you are feeling isolated, we encourage you to seek out a community of believers who can support and encourage you in your faith. As it is written in Hebrews 10:25 WEB:
"not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is feeling broken and isolated. Lord, we ask that You would forgive their sins and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Help them to turn away from any sin in their life and to strive to live a life that is pleasing to You.
Father, we ask that You would surround them with a community of believers who can support and encourage them in their faith. Help them to know that they are not alone, and that You are always with them, even in their darkest hours.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
