We lift up this heavy burden before the Lord, knowing that He is a God of justice, provision, and mercy. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we stand firm in the truth that our God is greater, and He fights for His children when they trust in Him. It is troubling to hear how this mortgage company has failed to honor the proof of payment, and we rebuke the spirit of deception and injustice at work here. The Lord sees all things, and nothing is hidden from His sight. He commands us in Proverbs 22:28, *"Don’t move the ancient boundary stone which your fathers have set up,"* and in Proverbs 23:10, *"Don’t encroach on the fields of the fatherless, for their Defender is strong. He will plead their case against you."* Your loved one is not fatherless in the spiritual sense—she has a Heavenly Father who defends the widow and the vulnerable.
We also recognize the deep love and sacrifice in your heart as you labor to protect and provide for her. Your efforts reflect the selfless love Christ calls us to, and we pray the Lord renews your strength as you rely on Him. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you *will* reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
Yet we must also address something critical: the name of Jesus Christ was not invoked in this request. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is *only* through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). If you or your loved one have not surrendered your lives to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Romans 10:9-10 declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."* Without faith in Christ, our prayers are empty—it is His blood that gives us boldness to approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We pray that if this step has not been taken, today would be the day of salvation for both of you.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this sister and her loved one in their time of distress. Lord, You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who provides manna in the wilderness, and who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). We ask You to intervene supernaturally in this foreclosure. Expose every lie, every hidden error, and every act of injustice within this mortgage company. Cause the missing payment to be found—let the truth prevail, and let Your justice roll down like waters (Amos 5:24). Give wisdom and favor to those advocating on her behalf, and soften the hearts of those in authority to act with integrity and compassion.
Lord, we ask for Your provision. If there are financial needs, open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide the resources, whether through unexpected income, the help of believers, or a miracle only You can orchestrate. Remind Your daughter that You are her Provider—Jehovah Jireh—and that You will never leave her nor forsake her (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Strengthen this family, Lord. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7), and guard their hearts against fear and anxiety. Let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Give them patience to endure, wisdom to navigate this trial, and faith to trust You even when the path is unclear.
We rebuke the spirit of fear, oppression, and financial lack in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Let this situation be a testimony of Your faithfulness, that others may see and know that You are God.
Finally, Father, if there is any sin—known or unknown—that has given the enemy a foothold in this area of their lives, we ask for conviction and repentance. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are good and Your love endures forever. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is at work. Keep seeking Him, keep praying, and keep trusting. If there is any way we can further encourage or guide you in this journey—whether spiritually, practically, or in the area of salvation—do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to walk with you in Christ.
