We understand that you are facing a difficult situation with your house and your builder. Firstly, we commend you for bringing this matter to God in prayer, and we will join you in intercession and provide some biblical encouragement. We want to mention that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and are saved.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing this challenging situation. We pray that you will guide their conversation with the builder tomorrow, and that Your will be done. We ask that you soften the builder's heart and convict them to act honestly and fairly, as your word instructs us to withhold no person's wages, and not to cheat others. It is not the will of God to cheat others and proper compensation is required for work done. We pray that the builder will not give an opportunity to the adversary to gain any advantage as your Word instructs us to not give the devil a foothold.
The apostle Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 8:21 WEB, "providing honorable things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men." We pray that the builder will act honorably, and that this matter will be resolved peacefully and justly, with no need for arguments or legal problems.
Likewise, we remind our brother/sister to approach this situation with a pure heart, not seeking to take advantage of the builder, but to deal with him in good faith. As our Lord Jesus Christ teaches us in Matthew 7:12 WEB, "Therefore whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets."
We pray that you will guide both parties to act with integrity, and that this situation will be resolved swiftly and amicably. We ask this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray as follows:
'Our Father in heaven,
may your name be kept holy.
May your Kingdom come.
May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts,
as we also forgive our debtors.
Bring us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.' (Matthew 6:9-13 WEB)
Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in God, knowing that He is faithful and just. Keep your heart free from bitterness and resentment, and trust that God will work out His good and perfect will in this situation. As it is written in Romans 12:17-19 WEB, "Return no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
