For those worried about going to Hell

Thank you for sharing so honestly about your struggle and for wanting to bring it before God in prayer. It is good that you are taking both your assurance and your sin seriously, and that you want help to fight against lust rather than excuse it.

You quoted Romans 4 about the promise coming through the righteousness of faith, not through the law, and you mentioned Romans 8 that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. That is true and it is the foundation of our hope. We are not saved by keeping the law perfectly, but by trusting in Jesus Christ alone, who died and rose for sinners. The law shows us our need and brings awareness of wrath, but faith receives the righteousness that God gives through Christ. That is why you can have confidence not in your own perfection, but in His finished work.

At the same time, being saved by faith does not mean sin no longer matters. Where there is law there is transgression, and God has not left us without His moral guidance. He calls those who are in Christ to live in a new way. That includes His design for sexuality, that sex and living together belong within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and that lust outside of that is sin to be repented of and turned from, not excused.

You are right that being a teenager does not excuse lust. God does not overlook sin because of age, but He also does not leave you alone in the battle. Scripture says God is faithful and will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. Temptation itself is not unusual, it is common to all people, but God provides strength and a way out each time, often by calling us to flee, to pray, to turn our minds to Christ, to cut off sources of temptation, and to seek help from trusted believers.

The enemy wants you to do one of two things, either to despair and think you cannot be saved because you still struggle, or to become careless and think grace means you do not need to fight. Do not give in to either. The apostle Paul called himself the chief of sinners and a persecutor who received mercy, precisely so that no one after him would despair of finding mercy. If God could show all patience to him, He can forgive and restore you when you confess and turn to Him. And now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation, to keep coming to Him honestly without delay.

Struggling with lust does not automatically mean you are not in Christ, but it is a call to keep warring against it with God's help. Assurance grows not from pretending the struggle is not sin, but from bringing it into the light, confessing it to God, asking for forgiveness through Jesus, and asking for power to walk differently.

Here is a prayer for you:

Father, thank You for Your promise that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, and that salvation comes through faith in Him alone. Thank You for Your mercy that forgives sinners who turn to You. I lift up this young believer to You. You see the struggle with lust and the fear and shame that comes with it. Forgive his sins through the blood of Jesus and cleanse his heart. Give him assurance that is rooted in Christ, not in his own performance, and give him a growing hatred for sin and love for holiness. Teach him to recognize the way of escape You provide in temptation and to take it. Strengthen him to guard his eyes and mind, to stay in Your Word, to pray continually, and to walk with faithful believers who will encourage him. Fill him with Your Spirit so that he may live with purity and hope. Help him to trust that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in him. In the name of Jesus, amen.

Keep bringing this to God daily, stay in Scripture, and if possible talk with a mature Christian man or pastor you trust who can walk with you and hold you accountable. God is patient and He is able to help you stand.
