For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice with you in sharing the good news of salvation and we thank God for your heart to point others to Jesus Christ. We agree that this is the most important message anyone can hear and we stand with you in praying for every soul who is seeking truth and eternal life.

We affirm what you have shared from Rom 10:9-10 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. This is the beautiful promise of the gospel, that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus alone, for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast Eph 2:8-9.

We also affirm your encouragement to confess and turn from sins, for true faith includes repentance. As it is written Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out Acts 3:19 and If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. To follow and obey Jesus is the evidence of a transformed heart, for Jesus said If you love me, keep my commandments John 14:15 and If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me Luke 9:23.

We love your encouragement to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, starting in the book of John, for these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name John 20:31. There we come to know who Jesus is, that He is the way, the truth, and the life and no one comes to the Father, except through Him John 14:6, and that There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16.

We join together in prayer for all who are reading this and seeking salvation. Father in heaven, we lift up every searching heart to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray that Your Holy Spirit would draw each one to conviction and to faith, that they would confess Jesus as Lord and believe that You raised Him from the dead. Forgive their sins as they turn from them and wash them clean by the blood of Jesus. Give them a new heart and help them to follow and obey You all the days of their lives. Lead them as they open Your word, especially in the Gospel of John, and reveal Yourself to them. Help them to find a faithful Bible believing fellowship where they can grow, be baptized, and walk in newness of life, for if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation 2 Cor 5:17. We ask this in the saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage anyone who has prayed to confess Jesus as Lord to tell another believer, to continue daily in prayer and in reading the Scriptures, and to walk in obedience as you grow in grace.

Thank you for taking time to share this burden for people who are searching. We can hear your care for others to know Jesus, and we are grateful for it.

It encourages us when someone wants to point others simply to Christ and to His Word. Starting in John is such a gentle, clear place to meet Jesus as He is, and we pray that everyone who reads because of your note finds Him welcoming and true.

If you are someone who is exploring salvation yourself after reading this, we would encourage you to not walk alone. Talk with a trusted pastor or a mature believer in a local Bible believing church, keep reading a little in John each day, and be honest with the Lord in prayer as you go. He hears sincere seeking.

We also thank you for sowing this seed. Sometimes we may not see the fruit right away, but God is faithful to work through His Word.

Father, thank you for making a way for us through Jesus. We ask you to draw each searching heart closer to you, give clarity and peace as they seek, and surround them with people who can walk with them. Help us all to keep following you day by day. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is good and right that you have brought this burden before the Lord, for there is no theme more urgent than the salvation of souls. The word which you have quoted is true and faithful, If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

We do rejoice that any should be led to seek the Lord, and we pray that those who are now inquiring may find in Christ a complete and divine salvation. Salvation is of the Lord in the planning, in the providing, and in the applying of it. It was His infinite wisdom that devised it and His free grace that bestows it, so that all who are saved will join to say with Jonah, Salvation is of the Lord. We rest not upon our faith, our repentance, our prayers or our likeness to Christ, but upon Jesus Christ crucified, who is all our salvation, the Alpha and the Finisher of faith.

Take heed that the repentance you preach and the repentance you seek be true repentance. There is a repentance that comes of excitement or of fear which has in it no submission, no faith, no love, and which does not glorify God. True repentance is inseparable from faith. They come into the soul together. Faith is trust in Christ, and repentance is that godly sorrow which loathes sin because it is hateful to the heart of Jesus, and which sets the sinner ever afterwards craving after holiness. Do you rejoice in Jesus crucified, do you love Christ and trust Him, do you leap for joy at the thought that God hath set Him forth to be a propitiation for sin, this is repentance that needeth not to be repented of. Lord, sink me low as hell in repentance, but lift me high as heaven in faith.

There is a due order for faith and confession and a clear connection between them. With the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. We must not put asunder what God hath joined. The same truths which through faith become the ground of our salvation are to become the subject of our open confession before men. Let that confession be personal and sincere. His faith must be his own faith, his repentance must be repentance of his own sin, his coming to Christ must be his own coming. Do not borrow another man's experience, but let every one say, I am the Lord's, with his own mouth and from his own heart. A general religion will not save, it must be a personal laying hold upon Christ.

To those who are seeking, we would say, look at once to Jesus. Believe on Him now. The gospel challengeth you that you believe in Jesus now. Turn from your sins, not in your own strength but as the fruit of that faith which the Spirit works in the heart. Simple faith is always the work of the Spirit, and the Spirit never takes a man off from Christ but establishes him more firmly in confidence in His righteousness. And that counsel to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, beginning in the book of John, is wise. There you will see the Lord Jesus set forth as the Word made flesh, full of grace and truth, that you may have a practical, workday faith in Him for every need of life.

We pray for all who are now looking for salvation, that the Lord would grant them that faith which believeth unto righteousness and that grace which makes confession unto salvation, that they may know the joy of His salvation restored and kept, and may follow and obey Jesus all their days. May the Lord grant such repentance and such faith to every seeking soul, and may He perfect that which concerneth them, for His mercy endureth forever.
