Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We thank you for sharing this faithful and urgent message of salvation and we join together in agreement with you for every soul who is seeking the Lord right now.

We rejoice that you have pointed to the heart of the gospel, for it is written that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10. We also hold fast to the truth that there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12, and that Jesus himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6.

We affirm what you have shared that true faith includes repentance, a turning from sin and a turning to Christ. We are reminded that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9, and we are called to Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. Ephesians 2:8-9. We are saved by grace through faith, and that faith will lead us to follow and obey Jesus as Lord.

We encourage everyone who is seeking salvation to take this step today, to confess Jesus as Lord with your mouth, to believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, to repent and turn from your sins, and to follow Him in obedience. Your counsel to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John is wise and biblical, and starting in the book of John is a wonderful place to truly know Jesus as the Word made flesh, the Son of God who gives eternal life to all who believe in Him. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16.

We pray together for all who are searching,

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You for Your mercy and Your gift of salvation. We lift up every person who is reading this and longing for forgiveness and new life. Lord, open their hearts to believe that Jesus died for their sins and rose again, and give them courage to confess Him as Lord. Grant them repentance that leads to life, wash them clean by the blood of Jesus, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Lead them into Your Word, especially the Gospel of John, that they may know You more and grow in faith and obedience. Draw them to Yourself and keep them in Your grace, that they may walk with You all the days of their lives. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart for those who are searching for salvation. We hear your care for people to know Jesus, to turn to Him, and to learn to follow Him, and we are grateful you took time to put that burden into words.

We join you in praying for anyone who is seeking right now, asking questions, or wondering what it means to trust Christ. Coming to faith is both a moment of trusting Him and the beginning of walking with Him day by day, learning His ways and growing in grace over time. Your encouragement to start in the Gospel of John is such a helpful and gentle starting point, because there a new reader can hear Jesus Himself and get to know who He is.

One simple way to keep carrying this burden, if it is helpful, is to bring one or two seekers by name before the Lord regularly, and if they are open, offer to read through John together a chapter at a time and talk about what stands out to you both. Just staying available and prayerful often means a lot to someone who is exploring faith.

Father, thank You for Your mercy and for the gift of salvation through Jesus. We lift up every person who is searching today, ask that You draw them to Yourself, give them clarity as they seek, and help them grow in knowing and following You. Encourage our friend as they continue to point others to Your love. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a good and hopeful sign when the heart is turned to seek the Lord and to enquire after salvation, for salvation is of the Lord from first to last. It was of the Lord in the planning before creation, of the Lord in the execution upon the cross, and it must be of the Lord in the application to the soul, for He must make the unwilling willing and bring the sinner to the feet of Jesus, or else salvation will never be accomplished.

You have well quoted the faithful word, that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Upon the incarnation, life, death and resurrection of Jesus our salvation hinges. He who believes these truths aright has believed the gospel. This Jesus was really and truly man, of the seed of David, and truly God, and His resurrection was the acceptance of His sacrifice, evidence that He had fully endured the penalty which was due to human guilt. Whoever believes in Jesus Christ is as free from the guilt of sin as Christ is, for our Lord took the sins of His people and died in the sinner's place.

Take heed that you understand what it is to believe and to repent, for the two go together and must not be divided. Our Lord commenced His ministry with the two love notes of repentance and faith. We must not undervalue repentance. It is a blessed grace of God the Holy Spirit, and it is absolutely necessary unto salvation. Yet repentance unto life is not a terror which worketh death, but a godly sorrow whereby we hate sin with a perfect hatred because it is hateful to the heart of Jesus, and we mourn that we pierced the Lord. Such repentance is the gift of God, and so is faith. We are to preach repentance in the name of Jesus, as one of the free gifts of His grace.

Do not think you must be perfect in repentance before you come to Christ, nor trust to your repentance or even to your faith as if these could save you. If there is no good thing in you whatever, yet it is still true that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Nothing is to be trusted but the finished work of Jesus Christ upon Calvary's tree. We believe everything which the Lord Jesus has taught, but we must go a step further and trust Him. It is not written that he who believes on Jesus nine parts out of ten and on himself for the other tenth shall be saved, but whoever believes on Him, on Him alone. Jesus will never be a part Saviour. Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.

Therefore come just as you are, confessing your sin and turning from it, confessing with your mouth Jesus our Lord and trusting Him alone. How sweetly does Jesus our Lord sound to the soul that has found grace. To take Him as Lord is to enter a bond that shall never be dissolved. Cry out, Lord, I believe, help Thou mine unbelief. I would quit my sin, help me to quit it now for Jesus sake.

Your counsel to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, beginning in the book of John, is wise. There you will see the Lord Jesus plainly set forth, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name. Continue in the Word, follow and obey Jesus as His disciple, and seek the fellowship of a faithful church where the gospel is preached.

May the blessed Giver of all repentance unto salvation grant you that repentance which existeth unto life, and that faith which lays hold on Jesus our Lord, to the glory of God. Amen.
