For those who are looking for salvation..

Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice in your desire to share the message of salvation, for there is no greater gift than the redemption found in Jesus Christ. You have rightly pointed to Romans 10:9-10, which declares, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." This is the foundation of our faith, acknowledging Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection, which conquers sin and death.

However, we must also emphasize that true repentance involves turning away from sin, as Scripture commands. Jesus Himself began His ministry with the call, "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand" (Matthew 4:17). Salvation is not merely a one-time confession but a lifelong commitment to follow Christ, obey His Word, and walk in holiness. As 1 John 1:9 reminds us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

We encourage all who seek salvation to study the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, as you mentioned, for they reveal the life, teachings, and sacrifice of our Savior. Begin with the book of John, which beautifully declares Christ’s divinity and His offer of eternal life to all who believe in Him (John 3:16). But let us also remember that faith without works is dead (James 2:17), and true discipleship requires surrendering every area of our lives to Him.

Let us pray together for those who are seeking salvation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again so that we might have eternal life. Lord, we lift up those who are searching for truth, for meaning, and for salvation. Open their hearts to receive Your Word, and soften their spirits to understand their need for a Savior. May they confess Jesus as Lord, believe in His resurrection, and turn away from sin to follow You wholeheartedly.

Father, we ask that You draw them to Yourself, for no one can come to You unless You draw them (John 6:44). Surround them with believers who can guide them in Your truth, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit to empower them to live for You. Help them to study Your Word diligently, to pray without ceasing, and to walk in obedience to Your commands. May their lives be transformed by the power of the Gospel, and may they become bold witnesses for Your glory.

We rebuke any deception or confusion that may hinder their understanding of the Gospel. We declare that the enemy has no hold over those who belong to Christ, and we pray that every lie of the devil would be shattered by the truth of Your Word. May they find true freedom in You, Lord, and may their lives bring honor and praise to Your name.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

To those reading this, if you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. There is no greater decision you will ever make. Confess your sins, believe in Christ, and commit to following Him. If you have already done so, we encourage you to grow in your faith through prayer, studying Scripture, and fellowship with other believers. Let us walk together in the light of His love and truth.

There’s something truly exciting about the pull you’re feeling, the desire to know God, to be saved, to start fresh. We don’t think that kind of hunger comes from nowhere. Jesus said no one can come to him unless the Father draws them, and it sounds like that’s exactly what’s happening in your heart right now.

The simplicity of what you’ve shared actually says a lot. You’re not asking for a list of complicated rules or a theology degree. You’re asking, “How do I say yes to Jesus?” That’s the right question. Confessing with your mouth and believing in your heart, that’s not a formula; it’s a relationship. It’s telling the Lord, “I’m yours. I trust you. I’m turning from my own way.” And the beautiful thing is, you don’t have to clean yourself up first or understand everything before you take that step. Faith often begins as a small, shaky seed, and God knows how to grow it.

Your instinct to start in the Gospel of John is a good one. We’d encourage you to read it slowly, maybe just a few verses a day, and to pause and talk to God as you read. Tell him what you’re thinking. You could even jot down a simple prayer like, “Lord, I want to know you. Help me believe.” If you haven’t yet prayed to confess Jesus as Lord, you can do that right now, right where you are, in your own words. He hears you.

It also helps to not walk this road alone. If there’s a church nearby that clearly teaches the Bible, that’s a safe place to ask questions and find people who will walk with you. Or if you know a Christian friend who can read John with you, reach out. We’re praying you’ll settle into the solid, steady confidence that salvation isn’t about perfect performance, it’s about a person, Jesus, who is faithful even when our faith feels small.

Lord, thank you for drawing this person to yourself. Give them the courage to speak their “yes” to you, and open their eyes to see you as you truly are, the Savior who loves them. Quiet any fears, and plant them in a community that will nurture their new faith. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The soul that seeks salvation presses near to the heart of the matter in that very seeking. You have set before us the apostolic word from Romans, and it is a sure word: confession with the mouth and belief in the heart unto righteousness and salvation. Yet let none suppose these are mere motions of the lip and passing thoughts of the brain. The belief that saves is a belief that entwines itself with the very roots of your being, and the confession is the true utterance of a life transformed. This is the work of God the Holy Ghost, turning the heart from its love of sin to a joyous clinging to Christ. When you read in the Gospels, and especially as you begin in John, you do not merely study a record; you look upon the living Word. There you see God’s Salvation, not simply a doctrine or a system, but Jesus Christ Himself. He is Jehovah-Salvation, the sum of all deliverance. As you read, look to Him. Faith is not a laborious effort; it is the eye that sees Him and lives. I learned, and so must you, that if I simply trusted in Jesus, I would be saved. I looked, and my eyes saw God’s Salvation. That look brings you into vital union with Him who is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

And what of repentance? Let it never be a cold, legal turning over a new leaf that leaves you self-righteous and unblessed. True repentance stands at the Cross and sees sin forgiven, and then repents more deeply than ever, because evil is so hateful to the heart of the One who bled for it. It makes a rainbow of grief and hope. When you see the love of God in Christ Jesus, sin becomes a condemned and destroyed thing in your heart. This is the repentance that is unto life, a gift of grace, not a terror that drives you to despair, but a sorrow at the feet of Jesus for pardoned sin, because He loved you and gave Himself for you. It sets the sinner ever afterwards craving after holiness, not to be saved, but because he is saved. The Lord grant you such repentance, for it is the work of the Spirit, begotten at the cross.

Let your seeking, then, be a seeking of Jesus Christ Himself. He is the essence of His own work. The gospel is not merely about Him; it is Him. To know Christ is to have salvation. Do not rest until you can say, "He loved me, and gave Himself for me." He is immutable, always Himself, full of power to save and to keep. He is the Friend of sinners, the great High Priest, the Good Soldier's King to whom we give our loyal allegiance. If you would be saved, do not look to your own repentance or your own faith as if they were saviours, but look to Christ on the tree, bearing your sin in His own body. A sight of that matchless sacrifice will beget in you both repentance and faith, weaving them together into the one fabric of a renewed life. Read the holy page, but read it with this cry in your soul: "Show me Jesus!" For where He is, there is God’s Salvation, full and free, and your soul shall break forth with the confession, "I have seen Your Salvation, and I am one with Him forever."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have set forth well the words of the Apostle: if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. This is the good confession to which we are called, the very testimony Christ gave before Pilate when He bore witness to the truth. Yet do not imagine that a bare utterance secures salvation while the heart remains unrepentant. The jailer cried out, "What must I do to be saved?" and the answer was not "Only confess," but "Repent and be baptized." True confession arises from a soul that has turned from sin and now walks in obedience.

Let those seeking salvation first learn to mourn for their offenses with a godly sorrow that brings repentance without regret. The sorrow of the world produces death, but grief over sin washes the soul clean. John the Baptist came with a call to bear fruits worthy of repentance, stripping away all trust in lineage or empty ritual. So must every person who longs for deliverance accuse his own heart, condemn his own deeds, and hasten to the Physician for remission of sins. Do not postpone this turning, for no second sacrifice remains. Christ offered one sacrifice for sins forever and sat down at the right hand of God; by that single offering He has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified. This does not take away repentance, God forbid!, but it means you cannot crucify the Son of God afresh. The propitiation through repentance abides: by tears, by prayers, by works of mercy you may continually wash away the stains gathered after your washing. Let no one say, "I will sin now and repent later," for the day of grace has no guarantee.

You do well to direct them to the Scriptures, beginning with the Gospel of John. There the beloved disciple soars to the heights of Christ's divinity, showing that the Word was God and through Him we receive grace upon grace. In those pages you hear the Lord's own confession, "For this I was born," and His call to abide in His word. Read also Matthew, Mark, and Luke; observe how He varied His manner, now teaching, now working signs, to save those who followed Him, leading them by the hand to the knowledge of God. But let them not be hearers only, deceiving themselves. Let them become doers of the word.

You speak of obeying and following Jesus, and rightly so. This is the hallmark of saving faith. Christ Himself learned obedience through His sufferings, and having been made perfect He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him. If the Son submitted and learned, how much more must we, who are dust, bow under His easy yoke? Not a partial obedience, but a whole heart set on righteousness, for what partnership has light with darkness?

I entreat all who seek salvation: do not treat these things lightly. I long for your souls to be saved, and for that I endure hardship. Confess the Lord Jesus with a mouth that speaks truth, and believe with a heart cleansed by repentance. Turn from every wicked way, not once only but continually. Study the living oracles, starting with John, and let them dwell in you richly. Then go and bear fruit in keeping with repentance, and the God of peace will be with you.

You have set your feet on the right path by turning to the Scriptures and taking Romans 10 at its word. That promise stands unchanged: if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. The heart believes and is justified; the mouth confesses and salvation comes. So do not hesitate to speak it out to the Lord right now, tell him you trust in his finished work, and mean it from the depths of your heart.

But what you added is just as important: confess and turn from your sins, follow and obey Jesus. That is not a second step added to faith, but the very shape that genuine faith takes. The faith that saves is never an empty confession. If Jesus is Lord, then he has the right to command your life, and the same mouth that calls him Lord will want to walk in his ways. A real, living faith produces a changed life, not as a way to earn salvation, but as the proof that it has taken root. Works cannot produce faith, and they never substitute for it; but the faith that justifies will always stir you toward the fruit of the Spirit.

So when you read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, you are not just gathering information. You are hearing the voice of the Savior, and faith comes by hearing the word of God. The Gospels do not present a set of abstract principles; they introduce you to the person of Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession. Begin with John, just as you planned. There you will see who Jesus claimed to be, the signs he performed, and the clear invitation to believe and have life in his name. As you read, let the words settle into your heart, that is how faith grows strong and certain, even when feelings or circumstances offer no support.

Remember, the faith that saves is a gift. No one conjures it by sheer effort; the Lord supplies the very faith by which we reach out to him. You are not expected to have perfect, unshakable confidence every moment. Even great men of faith have known lapses and fears. What matters is the object of your faith, Jesus Christ, crucified and risen, and not the strength with which you hold on. He holds on to you. Rest in that, because the only true rest you will ever find comes by faith, not by your own striving.

So today, confess him as Lord with your mouth. Believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. Turn from whatever the Spirit shows you is not pleasing to him. And then walk it out by following his commands, not to be saved, but because you are saved. That is the kind of faith that justifies, the kind that sees far beyond this visible world and lays hold of eternal life. You have started well; now let the word of God shape your confidence and your obedience day by day.
