Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice in the truth of Romans 10:9-10, which declares, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." This is the foundation of our faith, the simple yet profound truth that salvation comes through Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you are seeking salvation, we encourage you to turn to Him with a sincere heart, confessing your sins and placing your trust in His finished work on the cross.

The call to follow Jesus is not merely an intellectual assent but a transformation of the heart and life. Jesus Himself said, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me" (Matthew 16:24). This means turning away from sin and walking in obedience to His Word. The books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, particularly the Gospel of John, are wonderful starting points to learn about the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of our Lord. John 3:16 reminds us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."

Let us pray together for those who are seeking salvation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your incredible gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up those who are searching for truth, for meaning, and for a relationship with You. Lord, open their hearts to receive the message of the Gospel. Soften their spirits to confess their sins and turn away from them. Help them to believe in their hearts that Jesus is Lord and that You raised Him from the dead. May they experience the joy and peace that comes from being born again by Your Spirit.

Father, we ask that You draw them to Yourself, just as You promised in Your Word: "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him" (John 6:44). Surround them with believers who can guide them in their walk with You. Give them a hunger for Your Word and a desire to follow Jesus wholeheartedly. Protect them from deception and false teachings, and let them grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior.

We rebuke any lies of the enemy that may be keeping them from coming to You. We declare that Your love is greater than their sin, and Your mercy is sufficient for them. Thank You, Lord, for the promise of salvation and the hope of eternal life. We pray that many would come to know You today and be transformed by the power of Your Holy Spirit. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

To those who have just received Christ or are considering this step, we encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith, be baptized as a public declaration of your new life in Christ, and fellowship with other believers. The Christian life is not meant to be walked alone, and the local church is a vital part of your spiritual growth. If you have questions or need guidance, do not hesitate to reach out to mature Christians who can help you on this journey. Remember, "He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6). You are loved, and your new life in Christ is just beginning!

We're grateful for this request, and we join you in lifting up those who are searching. That moment of turning, when someone lets go of self-reliance and trusts Christ, is the most real and lasting change a person can experience. Your direction to start reading in John is wise; there's something about seeing Jesus up close that presses past questions into relationship.

For anyone reading this who hasn't yet taken that step, we'd just say: you don't need to have everything figured out first. Confession and belief aren't about perfect understanding, they're about honest response. Tell the Lord where you actually are, even if the prayer comes out halting or uncertain. He meets people right there. Then pick up the Gospel of John and read slowly; let what you're reading be part of your conversation with him.

Jesus, for every person whose heart is stirring right now, who feels drawn yet hesitant, curious yet unsure, we ask for courage to speak the simple yes. Quiet the voices of shame and skepticism long enough for them to hear your welcome. Thank you that salvation isn't something we achieve, but a gift we receive from the hand of the one who rose from the dead. Draw many seekers into the safety of your keeping, and anchor them in your Word so their faith grows deep and steady. In your name we pray, amen.

You who are seeking salvation have set out on the only wise course, for there is no greater pursuit under heaven than to find everlasting life in Christ. The words you have quoted from Romans are the very charter of the penitent soul: "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Mark well the order: heart-belief and mouth-confession, both centering upon the risen Lord. Salvation is of the Lord from first to last; He planned it, He executed it, and He applies it by His Spirit. Your faith and your repentance must both be given you, or else you will neither believe nor repent of sin.

Yet hear this glad news: God giveth repentance unto life, a repentance that hates sin because it pierced the heart of Jesus, a repentance that glorifies God. And that very prayer rising in your bosom, "Lord, I believe; help Thou mine unbelief," is a fruit of Divine life, do you think the Holy Spirit would dictate petitions which the Father had determined to reject? No, no, no! Cry out, then, and rest upon Jesus only.

He hath power over all flesh to give eternal life to as many as the Father hath given Him, and that life is a life eternal, which shall never perish, neither shall any pluck you out of His hand. The resurrection of Christ is the seal of it all; because He lives, you shall live also. So look to Him with that life-look, confess Him as your Lord with sweet ownership, and you shall find Him admired in all them that believe. Go to the Gospel of John, as you have been directed, and there you will see that He is the true God and eternal life.

The Lord grant you that saving knowledge of the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He hath sent.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have rightly turned to the words of the blessed Paul, that confession of the Lord Jesus with the mouth and belief in the heart concerning His resurrection bring salvation. Yet let no one suppose that a mere utterance of words suffices, for the confession that saves is one born from a heart already humbled by repentance. John the Baptist came preaching nothing else but "bring forth fruits meet for repentance," that by condemning our own sins we might be made ready to seek the Redeemer and hasten to receive remission. As the prophet cries, "Declare first your transgressions, that you may be justified." The soul must groan bitterly and offer the sacrifice of a contrite heart, for godly sorrow works repentance unto salvation not to be repented of, while the sorrow of the world works death.

Seeing, then, that salvation rests not on kinship of the flesh nor on any imagined merit of our own, we must flee from every vain refuge and place the whole hope of our salvation in our own repentance and a living faith. For the Gospel is a sweet savor, bringing light and life to those who receive it, though it become to the perishing a cause of ruin. And this same Gospel of our salvation has its very origin and sum in God becoming man, being crucified, and rising again. It was for this cause our Lord Himself made that good confession before Pontius Pilate, bearing witness that He came into the world to testify to the truth. Follow His example, then, and let your confession be not of words only but of a life laid hold of by the truth.

Begin with the reading of the holy Gospels, and start well in the Gospel according to St. John. There you will behold the true light of His divinity and the deep mystery of His incarnation, and in that bright mirror find the true knowledge of Him whom to know is life eternal. But when you read, come not as a careless hearer; rather, having cleansed the ears of your heart by repentance, draw near with reverence and a longing to be changed, that the word may bear fruit in you a hundredfold. For it was the woman, the weaker vessel, who first tasted the grace of His resurrection, teaching us that none who come in humility will be sent away empty. So confess your sins without guile, turn from them with your whole will, and believe steadfastly that Jesus is Lord, having been raised from the dead for your justification. Then walk in obedience, and the door of salvation stands opened to you in the Lord.

It is a beautiful thing to pray for those who are seeking salvation. That desire reflects the heart of God, for He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. The verses you shared from Romans chapter 10 lay out the promise so simply and clearly: if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. There is no hidden requirement, no additional step of worthiness to achieve. That is the gospel of grace.

Salvation is a gift that comes through faith alone. Right standing with God is credited to those who trust in Jesus Christ, not to those who try to earn it by their own efforts. Any voice that whispers you must add something to that simple trust is not the good news that was delivered to us. Even the great apostle Paul stood firmly on this truth, insisting that if anyone preaches a gospel that adds anything to faith in Christ, it is no gospel at all. The ground is level at the foot of the cross: both Jew and Gentile are purified by faith, not by keeping a list of rules.

At the same time, genuine faith never remains alone. The kind of faith that justifies is a living, active trust that changes a person from the inside. When you truly believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord, that confession will shape your actions. Turning from sin and following Him in obedience are not extra requirements to make salvation complete; they are the natural fruit of a heart that has been made new. As we see in Scripture, Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness. His faith prompted him to walk obediently, but what saved him was the faith itself, not the steps he took afterwards. In the same way, a changed life demonstrates that your faith is real, but you are not looking to your works for your salvation. You are looking to Jesus alone.

This is why your encouragement to read the four accounts of Jesus’ life, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, is so vital. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Miracles do not create saving faith; only the truth of the gospel can do that. And starting with John’s Gospel is wonderful advice, because it was written so we might believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing we may have life in His name.

So do not let anyone trouble you by suggesting that a person’s confession or repentance must reach some perfect standard before they can be saved. Instead, hold to the truth that salvation is offered through faith in the finished work of Christ. He learned obedience and became the author of eternal salvation for all who trust Him. Pray with confidence for those who are seeking, knowing that the Lord looks at the heart, a heart that simply casts itself on Jesus in faith. That faith will inevitably bring good works, but the faith must come first. He who began a good work in them will be faithful to complete it.

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to stand with you in prayer as you lift up those who are seeking salvation through Jesus Christ. What a powerful reminder from Romans 10:9-10—confessing with our mouths and believing in our hearts that Jesus is Lord brings the gift of eternal life! It is our joy to intercede for souls to come to know Him, to turn from sin, and to walk in obedience to His Word.

If the Lord has already moved in mighty ways since you posted this request—if hearts have been opened, if lives have been transformed by the power of the Gospel—we would love to hear your praise report! Let us rejoice together in what God has done.

If the work is still unfolding and you desire continued prayer for those who have yet to receive Christ, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to standing with you in faith, lifting up every name and every heart before the throne of grace. May the Holy Spirit draw many to Himself through the truth of His Word, especially as they read the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Let us trust in His perfect timing and unfailing love.

We continue to pray that God will soften hearts, remove every barrier, and reveal His Son in all His glory to those who are seeking. May His light shine brightly in the darkness, and may many come to know the hope, peace, and salvation found only in Jesus Christ. In His precious and powerful name we pray. Amen.
