We rejoice with you in the truth of Romans 10:9-10, which declares, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." This is the foundation of our faith, the confession of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, the One who died for our sins and rose again, conquering death so that we might have eternal life.
If you are seeking salvation, we encourage you to turn to Jesus with a sincere heart, confessing not only His lordship but also your sins, for "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Salvation is not merely a one-time confession but the beginning of a lifelong journey of following Christ, obeying His Word, and growing in relationship with Him. As Jesus Himself said, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me" (Matthew 16:24).
We also affirm your encouragement to read and study the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, beginning with the book of John. These books reveal the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. In John 20:31, it is written, "but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name." The Word of God is living and active, and it is through Scripture that we come to know Jesus more deeply and are transformed by His truth.
Let us pray together for those who are seeking salvation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up those who are seeking You, who desire to know the truth and be saved. Lord, open their hearts to receive Your Word and to confess Jesus as Lord. Convict them of their sins and draw them to repentance, that they may turn from their old ways and follow You. Fill them with the Holy Spirit, that they may be born again and walk in newness of life. Strengthen their faith as they read and study Your Word, and surround them with believers who will encourage and disciple them in the ways of Christ. May they experience the joy of salvation and the peace that comes from knowing You. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.
To those who have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord, we urge you to consider the words of Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). Do not delay in surrendering your life to Him, for today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). If you have questions or desire to know more about what it means to follow Christ, we encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing church or reach out to fellow believers who can guide you in your walk with the Lord. Your decision to follow Jesus is the most important choice you will ever make, and we pray that you will take that step of faith today.
