Beloved of All
For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice in your desire to share the message of salvation, for there is no greater gift than the redemption found in Jesus Christ. Indeed, the Scriptures declare, "For if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation" (Romans 10:9-10 WEB). This is the foundation of our faith, acknowledging Jesus as Lord, believing in His resurrection, and turning away from sin to follow Him.

Yet, we must also emphasize that true salvation is not merely a one-time confession but a lifelong transformation. Jesus Himself said, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me" (Matthew 16:24 WEB). Following Christ means submitting every area of our lives to His lordship, our thoughts, actions, relationships, and desires. It means repenting of sin, not just once, but continually as the Holy Spirit convicts us. The apostle John warns, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:8-9 WEB).

For those seeking salvation, we encourage you to not only confess Jesus as Lord but to also immerse yourself in His Word, beginning with the Gospel of John as you suggested. There, you will meet Jesus, the Word made flesh, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Study His life, His teachings, His death, and His resurrection. Let His truth shape your heart and mind. Seek fellowship with other believers, for Scripture says, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:24-25 WEB).

We also pray for those who may be struggling with unrepentant sin or who have not fully surrendered to Christ’s lordship. If you are holding onto sin, whether it be sexual immorality, idolatry, hatred, or any other disobedience, know that it separates you from God. The Bible is clear: "Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB). But there is hope! The very next verse says, "Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God" (1 Corinthians 6:11 WEB). Repentance and faith in Christ cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up those who are seeking You, who are searching for truth and redemption. Lord, open their eyes to see their need for a Savior. Soften their hearts to receive Your Word and convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment. May they confess Jesus as Lord, not just with their lips but with their lives. Father, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself, for no one can come to You unless the Spirit draws them.

For those who have already confessed Christ but are struggling with sin, we pray for repentance and renewal. Holy Spirit, reveal to them any areas of their lives that are not surrendered to You. Give them the strength to turn away from sin and the courage to walk in obedience. Remind them that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness.

Lord, we also pray for those who may be deceived, thinking they are saved while still living in sin. Shine Your light into their hearts and expose the truth. May they understand that faith without works is dead, and that true salvation produces a transformed life. Help them to see that following Jesus means taking up their cross daily and living for Your glory.

Father, we ask that You would lead all who are seeking salvation to faithful churches and godly mentors who can disciple them in Your ways. Surround them with believers who will encourage them in their walk with You. May they grow in the knowledge of Your Word and in the likeness of Your Son.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. For there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. We thank You for the assurance that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. May Your will be done in each of these lives, and may Your kingdom come. Amen.

We’re grateful for the clarity of this prayer, it puts into words the deepest hope any of us can have. Starting with John is a wonderful next step. The Gospel of John was written so that you “may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” As you read, try not to rush through it as a task. Instead, imagine you’re meeting this Person for the first time. Notice how real people, Nicodemus, the woman at the well, the blind man, wrestled, questioned, and were drawn to him. Their honest encounters can become part of yours.

If you can, share this with another Christian or a small group. We’ve seen over and over how reading Scripture alongside someone else, asking questions out loud, praying through the passages, anchors belief in real relationship, not just private effort. Many churches have groups that would welcome you, even if you don’t have everything figured out yet. The desire to turn from sin and follow Jesus is not something you manufacture on your own; it grows as you stay near him.

Jesus, thank you for the step this person is taking toward you. Quiet every fear and distraction, and open their eyes to see how fully you welcome the one who comes. Meet them in the pages of John, where your life and love shine. Grant a heart that believes and a mouth ready to confess you as Lord. Sustain this new beginning, and surround them with faithful friends who will walk alongside. In your name, Amen.

Your soul is already being drawn by the cords of divine love, for none can truly seek salvation unless the Father draws them. The very cry of your heart is the echo of the Spirit’s work within you. Stand not upon the brink, reasoning and delaying, but plunge into the depths of mercy this very hour! The passage you have quoted lights the way so plainly that a child may walk in it: confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead. Mark well that the Resurrection is the keystone of the arch, our Lord’s rising from the tomb is God’s own seal upon the finished work of Calvary, declaring that sin is put away and justification is freely offered to all who trust in Him.

Let not the simplicity of the Gospel stumble you. The mind craves novelties, but salvation hinges upon the ancient verities: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day. Believe these truths with a hearty reliance, and you are saved. Yet see that your faith is no mere nodding of the head to a creed; it must be the trusting of your whole being into the hands of the risen Lord. When you thus believe, you are as free from the guilt of sin as Christ Himself is free, for He bore it away and rose without it. Oh, glorious exchange! It is the wonder of heaven and should be the joy of every seeking heart.

You speak rightly of confessing with the mouth and turning from sin. True faith is no secret thing; it crowns Jesus as Lord of the tongue and Lord of the life. If He be your Savior, He must be your Sovereign. No man rebels against Christ because he believes in Him, it is our believing that makes Him our Lord, and we joyfully bow to His autocratic, imperial sway. You cannot split Christ in pieces and take His blood without His yoke. His sweet commands become the very pleasure of the renewed soul; we do them, not to be saved, but because we are saved, and love has made His will our delight. As you turn from sin, turn to a Person. Sin’s grip is broken not by resolutions alone, but by the expulsive power of a new affection. Look to Jesus, and the idols will fall.

Take up the Gospel of John as you have purposed. There you will see the Word made flesh, full of grace and truth. Walk with Him through those chapters, and you will discover that His love is immutable, there are no ups and downs in it. He loved His own in the world, and He loves them to the uttermost, even when they are in the furnace of affliction or the chill of a Gethsemane. His friendship is beyond comparison: a friend in need, a friend indeed, who laid down His life for His friends. As you read, pray that the Spirit would make the printed page a voice from heaven. You may not see the flesh and blood of Christ, yet He stands in the midst of His people by His spiritual presence. Speak to Him now as a living Lord; tell Him all your need, your sin, your longing. He is not far from any one of us.

Will you not close with Him at once? The Lord Jesus is anointed to be the Savior of men, and you are a man or woman, therefore He is suited to you. Delay is perilous; the enemy will sow a thousand doubts. But the word is nigh you, even in your mouth. Believe in your heart; confess with your mouth. Let this be the hour when you yield yourself up to Christ. Say from the soul, “My Lord and my God,” and then go forth to tell others, like Philip of old, “We have found Him!” The grandest event in your soul’s history is at hand. Let it not slip away. Peace with God, adoption into His family, and the certain hope of glory are all wrapped up in this one act of faith. May the Spirit of God enable you to believe, and to enter at once into life eternal!

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
